This is our first Avalon River cruise and I must say it has exceeded my expectations. The organisation leading up to the cruise has been great , our welcome aboard was very warm and informative , our cabin is very comfortable , always clean , fresh towels , water . Etc
All the meals have been delicious , an amazing selection every day .
We have thoroughly enjoyed all the staff , so friendly and obliging with everything . Our Table waiter has been Gede an he has made each sitting very pleasant and look after each of our personal likes . He’s been fabulous . As have the other staff.
The only disappointing thing is the weather , but no one can control that and we do feel the Captain made the best call to miss Vienna and cruise on to Budapest .
Well done everyone . Been a great week ,
And have already recommended you to friends travelling nxt year .

Found the app very useful. The information we needed was easily accessible and in the event of an emergency, as we had with the floods, it made communication with us very easy.
Not updated often enough
The available excursions are not updated effectively when changes are made while underway. This is not really acceptable when the cruise director and entire onboard staff knew hours in advance that this change was required. Your web presence team needs to communicate better with operations and make changes when they are obvious. As a web presence professional I would be embarrassed by this disconnect.

Great reference for during and after the trip as we packed so much into each day it could get a little confusing when sorting out the many many photos

My favourite tour guide was Fabio who walked a good pace and explained all sights so well
I followed him for 2 day tours
All in all , my Avalon trip was wonderful and I will recommend to others , my friends and anybody who asks !
