I like this app and products.
Looks are deceiving
The app looks good, and has a well organized interface generally. When updating the firmware for devices, it totally falls down. It’s easy to select all devices that need a firmware upgrade – say, all six lightbulbs that I have – but attempting to update all fails every time. I have to do them one at a time, and even then I get conflicting reports about whether a specific device has failed to upgrade or not. Furthermore, updating to the latest firmware recently actually made reliability worse with HomeKit.

1. Accessory Management: While it’s possible to update accessories, the Cancel button is malfunctioning and doesn’t work as expected.
2. Firmware Update Challenges:
• Firmware updates are often unsuccessful, requiring multiple attempts.
• The process is lengthy and frequently requires restarting devices, cycling power to the router, or rebooting connected devices, which makes for a frustrating experience.
• The firmware update for connected plugs is particularly problematic: the app refreshes the screen with every percentage update, causing a disruptive flashing effect.
Additionally, it would greatly enhance the user experience if the devices could update firmware automatically. This would save users considerable time and reduce the need for manual intervention.
These issues make the app feel unstable and challenging to use. Addressing them, along with implementing automatic firmware updates, would greatly improve user satisfaction and reduce support needs.

Smart plug VP5X
The plugs gets disconnected a few times. When it does, it takes a couple of tries before it can be reset.
After a day or two lost connection
Alway lost connection with the wifi, and now the application doesn’t work at all, not openning. Trial delete and reinstall same issue.
