They have an option of two alerts the one with the envelope is the one that does DEVICE notifications it does NOT send an email notification and does not do the annoying app screen pop-up. Why use "✉️" symbol for the 📲 notification? ✉️🟰ALWAYS is EMAIL. I found this accidentally ..solved my own problem because even after contacting them a few times they didn't critically read my concern or ask me any questions in reply. Such a simple quick solution. 🤦🏻♀️

Made it slow to make you buy the hub
And they have recently updated the app which results in you having to wait for an Internet connection to then be able to load the Bluetooth connection to the Lok which doesn’t have an Internet proprietary hub. It’s almost as if they saw me coming.
Having suggested there was going to be Apple home key support which has not been forthcoming I can’t wait to leave this brand in the past
