This site is FULL of scammers & fakes!

I have been on MINGLE2 for about 2 months. In that time, I've texted with about 15 women. All but 2 were scammers or fakes!! They sent me pictures that they claimed to be of themselves, but they were pictures off of Facebook, Instagram, or Google! At least 3 women sent me pictures of porn stars! When confronted about it, they disappeared, never to be heard from again!! All but 2 asked me for money or asked me to buy them an iPhone! NONE were American, even though they claimed to be born and raised in the USA! And you cannot cancel recurring payments through the app! You have to go into your iPhone settings, and cancel it that way!! Over all, a VERY NEGATIVE experience!
Update: I deleted my account about three weeks ago, and I am still getting texts from fake people who asked me for money or ask me to receive money from someone else that, for some reason cannot send the money directly to them, and then I would relay the money to them! This is beyond ridiculous! Mingle2 is a huge waste of time! Nothing but scammers! In the three months that I had my profile on there, the account is now over 20 fake accounts, and scammers!

Response from developer

We regret the discomfort you've experienced. Actively listening and refining our app based on user feedback is our priority. Your reports on suspicious profiles are instrumental. Thank you for your invaluable insights.

FAKE - Suspect Call Center

95% Asians using fake profile pics, likely all work for the same group. I spent all weekend chatting with 20+ ‘Likes’ who claimed to be from Manhattan or Brooklyn. Not one had the ability to text msg me - not even on WhatsApp. All tried to get me on Google Chat or Skype. Secondly, I could tell most were clearly copying from a script, and couldn’t tell me simple facts about their claimed city. Zero texts, Zero meets out of 25 ‘locals’. Why? My guess is they work in an offshore call center and are data miners.

Example A: Successful clothing store owner in “Manhattan”, owned many cars, including a Bentley. Was supposedly outside near Central Park, couldn’t manage a call, text or selfie. Later when I asked about the cars, didn’t know what I was talking about. Claimed her “Swedish father had ‘left this world’, but later said he was retired in Thailand.

Example B: “I’m a biologist at the local Army Base” Great, I thought, as I’m literally 1 mile from there. Couldn’t manage a call, text, nada, even after I suggested a meet at a populated location of her choice. Couldn’t msg or call me, asked for Google Chat.

I could go on literally X 20. I realized quickly that they’re all fake accounts. Wasn’t asked for money, but I have a feeling after tripping most of them up with easy questions the word got out.

Admin told me to report scammers, but I could just take a screenshot of the entire lot and send that. Very angry and want a refund.

Worst dating app ever

I have been on Mingle2 for a while now and it’s been 1 fake/scamming profile after another! Nearly all profiles that claim to be located in your area are not in your area! Most are from American or china! I have sent numerous emails to mingle2 to do more work with their algorithms to prevent them from creating a profile. I have even gone to the extent of accusing Mingle2 of being fake/scam websites/dating app and every reapplied email I received from them was exactly the same generic email. Don’t waist your time with this site!

Someone tried to scam me

Chick seemed real enough until she wasn’t be careful men

Full of fakes and scammers

App has potential but site is full of obvious fakes. You can tell fakes, pictures obviously from different country, there aren’t many palm trees in the UK, or they ask for WhatsApp immediately and once they have your number they vanish. Scammers also do not want to message much or do not answer questions they are just using cut and paste. After a week I didn’t get a message from a single real person. A complete waste of time. Shame…. Do not waste money on upgrade.

Mingle2 Should Be Removed from the App Store!

I didn’t realize how bad it was going to be until I made an account for myself. Firstly, I spotted many minors (which is illegal)! There’s also a lot of blurry closeups of old men with obviously fake ages listed. None of the profiles seem real except for the minor accounts. I’ve never seen such an unattractive dating pool. It’s as if the developers cropped images from the ugliest men on google and pasted their photos in the app and created fake accounts for every single one of them! Terrible app! It shouldn’t even be on the App Store!! I didn’t even bother to message anyone on this app because this is a huge pixelated, unattractive mess!

Fake, owner is scamming

Seems obvious to me that the owner of this app is working to create fake profiles all day every day and makes it appear you are liked by many “fake accounts”. If you talk text with any of these people you will soon realize you are talking to a virtual BOT that won’t even answer your questions correctly. The other large number of profile accounts that answer your questions more directly will have some association with a 3rd world country or just a down on there luck lie story to get you to “eventually” send them free money. Just a new school way from the old way of when people would wire money western union to people. Scams …there is no website online that I have ever seen that has this many fake accounts without the app owner not knowing. That is why I say it is the owner doing it. Shameful! FYI..app support will not answer your questions regarding any refunds so is best to avoid this app altogether as they are also stealing your pictures to use without your consent on all future accounts and apps to scam others.

Changes in dating site

I’ve been a member since this site was called just mingle. Later they changed it to Mingle2 for whatever reason I have no idea, but if they are going to make it so you need coins to communicate with people on here by the way most are scammers then I’m going to not be using this dating site much longer. I have been using it since 2007. Not that’s a very long time to be a member on a dating site. Now they want to make it so people have to pay for a dating site filled with fake profiles. They are out of their mind.
I’ve lost count on how many profiles had scammers asking me for money. After a while you just want to give up on this whole online dating experience. I’ve never gave into these fake profiles and try to report them as much as possible, but they keep trying to reach out to me with a totally different profile. Some even use someone else’s photos to make them seem like a totally different user.
