The later updates are nice but still lacks left hand capability.
I hate this product.
For the price of this golf simulator, I can tell you that it is worth buying. I’ve had a lot of fun playing this game, but there are some issues. 1. After playing for a while, the game seems to get more glitchy for my as the holes go on. Although this could be just from air playing it to my tv. Also, I have a lefty golf swing, but i am still not sure how to change it because the default is right handed. Because of this, my swing could be a little off sometimes. I’ve tried to look in settings for this, but still can’t find it. If anyone could help that would be great.

After the update on the sensor, Phigolf automatically detects left handed swing.
So which means, there are no further options for selecting the right or left handed settings.

Great winter game night fun but Phi Golf needs an update with NEW courses to play. Please add some new courses!!! PangLand was the last course added….
I have purchased several of these sensor style swing trainers and I will say the Phigolf is the best………. When it works. The app is very glitchy in online play and gets flawed to the point where it isn’t fun anymore. Up until tonight “local” mode was consistent and perfect but that changed too. Now head speed is about 65% what it usually is regardless of play mode and shots are inconsistent from one to the next. PLEASE fix app it’s definitely the best hardware but app needs some work. Have sent prob a dozen “bug reports” to Phigolf with no change.

Thank you.While the motion sensor technology isn’t there yet and there are occasionally some issues with the app this is a super fun swing trainer. My friends and I use it all the time and always have a blast regardless of any issues!
If you think it’s going to behave like a $20,000 simulator you’re going to be disappointed. Enjoy it for what it is and you’ll notice some improvement on the course.
I have recently started encountering a lot of issues with swings not being detected and or being detected wildly incorrectly. If there was an update done recently, this might have caused a flaw of some sort. Right now the product isn’t very fun because of the inaccuracies or lack of shot detection.
12/22 Update- There was an update done to the sensor this past week and I’ve noticed a significant increase in accuracy. I’m now updating to 5/5 as it stands :)
6/14 Update- There was recently a software update (I wish they’d just leave it alone), that has totally thrown off swing speed and distances. For me, it’s basically unusable at this point, so I have to lower the rating to one star for now.

Y family loves this when it works... It always freezes. We had to return to original sensor to get a new one after playing just a few days. I can’t play on my Apple TV anymore because the App is frozen. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it doesn’t matter. Works okay on my phone, but still issues. The putting is also very inaccurate and my son gets very frustrated. Again, this is a great idea and very cool when it works properly, but it just has too many problems and is not consistent.

CS Phigolf TeamNot normally a review writer but if I can prevent someone else from shattering their tv screen, or injuring a family member it’s worth it. The “indoor” club has a large magnet inside for weight distribution held in by a screw in top. I assume after repeated use and the magnet hitting the screw it works it’s way out of the thread. I learned this on my downswing when the magnet came free, creating a projectile that destroyed my tv. If someone was standing in the path they could have been seriously injured.
I could not find any method of getting in touch with PhiGolf to submit pictures.
