Good app, some bugs but overall worth it

Happy with my experience using Mirchi. I paid for the premium version and it is well worth it. There are some bugs and glitches in the app but nothing that significantly impacts the user experience.

Not great

Find that the interface isn’t too bad. However, it is very hard to match with people without paying. Even though I have likes, it’s been forever since I matched with any of the ones and the count hasn’t gone down either. Even trying to pay for it, I got way less matches than other apps. I think the swipe limit is so low that it’s really difficult to make matches. Also the algorithm isn’t very good at showing people near you.

Feedback

This app is immensely glitchy. You can swipe on several individuals, open the app again later, and then be presented with the same individuals again. On top of this, it’s evident that the app is not showing your profile to anyone because I haven’t gotten any likes in 48 hours. I am also a paying member of the app which is ridiculous considering that there are no prospects on the app. Will likely delete and not recommend to others.

Needs work

This app most certainly needs to use a verification system, I have encountered bots and duplicate accounts. Some of the bots were hilarious, they used pics of Hailey steinfeld and tripti dimri haha. They also need a better location filter algorithm, I live on the east coast but most of the profiles I’m shown are from the west coast. Some guy profiles slip through the cracks as well. When I tried deleting the account, I wrote the same things I mentioned above but I couldn’t scroll down to delete the account and my keyboard kept covering the text box. This app needs to be retooled and made more secure.

For the users: if you do match with someone, please respond if they make an attempt to speak with you, whether if you want to talk to them or not please let them know so they’re now wasting theirs and your time.

Hinge is better

It’s crazy that the worst dating apps I’ve ever been on are the ones developed by Indians, you would think it would be otherwise lol. there needs to be a more specific radius range as well and Mirchi needs to change the concept of their app which allows you to see who liked you like Hinge does. You’re honestly better off using Hinge and putting on the south Asian filter so at least you could see who liked you

Hang up quickly

It hang up quickly like there is a virus in app

Broken app

So the app won’t let me send messages so I logged out and tried to login again and it keeps coming up with an error.
Excellent dating app if you don’t want to be able to communicate with your matches.

Video option

I really hate the video option that can be easily clicked by others. If other people want to blackmail you or harass you or want to do video WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT, they have that easy access.

For safety reasons the video option SHOULD BE REMOVED for safety concerns in order to protect user’s identity! Blackmail is no joke

Worst people on there

I met my current girlfriend on there. I see why she was on the app now. I can see why no one wanted her. if you wanna find people like her where you have to spend the rest of your life doing their work then download the app. also its super glitchy and doesnt show when messages appear.

i still love her tho 😞 - i didnt write this.

avoid app in all cause

It’s alright

The app is pretty glitchy but you can still match and talk to people. The pricing is awful, way to expensive. I tried the top tier subscription for one month and if you like a profile from the active tab, it doesn’t do anything. It should put you in the front of their queue, but it actually doesn’t and the like you sent doesn’t persist if you reopen the app so liking non-dead profiles is a scam. You still get unlimited likes on the normal page and that seems to work fine.
