  • This is fun!

I have no idea how to play this card game at first. However, once I learned how to play, it is simple and fun. I cannot stop playing this bridge card game! It is one of the best card games I have played! I highly recommend those who enjoy card games.
  • Since the market does not have many bridge app

Pros: simple and easy to play
    Cons: minor user experience issues
This is a game app replicating the classic contract bridge. The market does not have many Contract Bridge apps, and most of them are not good in design, like the skill of the computer opponent or the artistic elements. So this app can still stand out, albeit not achieving the good quality in general game app design.
Generally the app is fine. Below some points are noticed:
User exp.: During the card selecting phase, when choosing a card, the app displays the whole set of suit first. This is a redundant step. Most card game app can directly select that particular card.
Transition of the pages: It seems the app uses fade in/out heavily in the inter-pages navigation. The idea may not be that good as the whole process looks slow and not clear-cut smooth. A simple direct cuts (like usual apps) may work better.
The speed and smoothness of the game: In short, it is slow, even if activating the singleton selection. And indeed the last card cannot automatically be played. Most of the card game apps can have a quicker response after playing a card.
For the AI of the computer opponents, since I am not an expert bridge player, I should not comment much.
Overall, the app is fine and I enjoy playing it.

  • Latest update

While I appreciate the new fixes I find it very aggravating that the north spot will now out bid south when you bet! So basically unless you can bid more than 1 heart, spade, club, diamond you can't bid because the program will out bid you and then you might not be able to pick up enough tricks. Needs fixing ASAP

  • Very fun

This is a very fun card game app o actually enjoy playing I've played very few card games within apps but this is definitely the best bridge card game. Has best features and the easiest to play. I recommend it.
  • Not Bad, Not Great

Need to work on the computer strategy part. My partner shouldn't be leading with trump when the opponents called trump. My partner frequently leads a low trump and cleans both of us out.
Also the speed of play could be worked on. When the west leads, we may know instantly what we want or have to play, and have to wait until the east has played to do anything.

  • Freezes up all the time

If you are playing a hand and you leave it will not allow you to resume the cards are frozen in place. If you bid NT the game freezes when your partner is supposed to bid. The only thing you can do is close out that game and start over. It’s like Microsoft programs turn it off and start over hard reboot. It can be frustrating!

  • Needs some work - 2 more requests...

Two problems that prevent a good experience: the declarer is not allowed to play the dummy hand, and 1. cards arranged red on red, black on black are visually confusing. I'd pay to have these issues fixed!
Oops! Figured out how to play dummy hand. Half-way there!
    2. Hand should be played by first to declare; not last to mention.
    3. It's a great way to practice solo, so I would love a button that allows me to close and deal another hand without having to exit and start a new game. I don't want to sit through the opponents playing of 1 club! Thanks!

Thank you for your feedback. We are working on addressing this issue. We will get it fixed! Good catch with the workaround. :)
  • It gets irritating when...

    1) Your partner as North plays obviously bad cards, turning a sure trick into a loser.

    2) When east and west bid and play as though they can directly see into each others' hands.

It got to the point where it felt like it was a waste of my time to play this game, and I uninstalled it. I would love to find a good Bridge app. Reading reviews of other apps, I guess it is a difficult app to create.

For me personally it's a 2-star. I would recommend it as an initial way to learn to play the fundamentals of the game, but just the basics. Then move on so you don't develop poor playing habits.

  • Quite Fun to play

This game is quite fun to play. It has most features that bridge cards games have. It even provides instructions for how to play this game. However, because this game is very predictable, it’s kind of boring if we play for a long period of time. There should be something quite catchy included to make the game more enjoyable.

  • Needs a few fixes

While I’m not an expert bridge player, I see a few things that need fixing in this app.

    1. The red and black cards need to be separated by suit. For some reason the developer has lumped hearts and diamonds together and clubs and spades together. Makes it difficult to differentiate between the suits. I think most people set up the cards in their hands by alternating the black and red suits.

    2. The person who wins the bid can’t play the dummy hand. That’s not realistic. And when the dummy hands plays itself, it plays cards in an order I would not. Often the dummy hand loses a trick when it should win one based on the card it plays.

I enjoy the app, but would not give it a high rating because it’s not as realistic as it could be.

On the other hand, it’s free and some of the other bridge apps out there are pricey.
