VERY FRUSTRATED!!!!!
It is way too many ads. When u are trying to move over a space all of a sudden an add pops up very frustrating. It would work a lot butter if the ads came on when u opened the app only not while u r trying to move to the next movie or trying to play it. It’s a lot easier to just buy a new remote because after 10 seconds of not using it my phone locks up and then I have to sign in all over again watch an ad and then when I’m trying to find another movie watch another add. I think every 5 times u press a button the adds go on.Show lessBrandon rufin
Same old same old..
This like most “Free” apps ,is a Royal Pain until you buy it without the advertising!After the $3 Extra bucks then it’ll work great!I mean the App Store should maybe tell us again that “Nothing in life is free!”So when you take this for free it might be better to try all the apps that are “Free” see which has the best balance of usability with ads?Besides that it worked flawlessly and since I’ve snapped the original remote in half,I guess this will be the remote from now on?Show lessMars'&Leslie's
“Up” button functioning wrong, intrusive ads
Bad remote. The buttons don’t function like they should and ads pop up so frequently that you can’t scroll or click multiple buttons in a row (which is essential for the functionality of a remote). This app is just another of poor quality and development which doesn’t deserve the ad revenue it gets for just tricking users into clicking and removing the functionality of the remote.Show lessashrinae
Annoying commercials
A commercial pops up every 5 seconds not letting you click anything and it is really annoying rather just stick to a normal controller than an app that gives you issues of commercialsshantel98

Excellent app
I’m in the middle of throwing out old clothes and misplaced my remote. I downloaded this app really quick and it connected to my tv in less than 30 seconds! Life saver!Rthoma51
You have to pay $2 to remove ads?
I downloaded this app so I would have another option other than using the physical remote control. The remote that came with the television has buttons on the side, and it’s difficult to use. Imagine my surprise when I found out after downloading the app that there were advertisements. I bit the bullet and paid the two dollars to remove the ads. That gets them a one star review. If TCL doesn’t like it, then don’t produce an app for a tv I bought that has obnoxious ads.Show lessRonsports99
Love it
Have four children and 5 roku TVs..constantly losing remotes. Couldn’t keep buying more. Love this remote as it also turns ec on and off and volume up and down. Works faster than the original remotes.Brittrosek
Ads not that bad
Did a great job in a pinch. Yes there are ads, but nothing crazy. Works great. Includes volume controls as well as sleep timer and all other picture controls. Great app Would have given it 5 stars. But the ads resulted in a 4 star review.Terrase
Super easy!
Downloaded the app, opened it and it immediately connected to my tv. So awesome! My kids lose the tiny control all the time and this just made my life easier!!Rina59
