  • Glitchy App

    I love SMCU. However, the new mobile app update is poor. It gives an error message that I need an internet connection when I try to access my accounts. I need at least two tries and sometimes more to view my accounts.

  • Rubbish

    Absolute trash. Locks you out for every little transaction you do, requiring you to call the branch every time.
  • Accurate. Love email transaction and balance alerts.

    Great Credit Union. App works. Accurate. Interface is not straight forward, but it is so small, I can find everything. Optional email alerts are great, but the information in the emails is not presented for quick analysis - too many useless words. Alert setup is overly clunky. Everything works in the app, and it is appreciated, but it could use some organization.

  • Obtuse interface. Slow. Clunky. Broken.

    Update Oct 2022 (3*): Email alerts seem to be fixed as of 9/29/22. Thanks. I had one email address that worked, but now getting 100% of alerts on multiple email addresses that had not been getting alerts since Feb. Interface is still clunky with poor flow seemingly built by people who don't use it, but I am getting accustomed to it. I trust the app, but I don't like it. I have learned to search for error messages not near the actual input, though I am not confident I would have found it.
    Original (1*): Love the Saint Mary's Credit Union. App, not so much - Unacceptable theses days. Less than a year ago the App worked great. Now App keeps getting worse. Designed by people who don't use the features. For example, on some edits, need to scroll through multiple pages of other unrelated settings first to edit a check box - when I press edit, it should go right to the edit data. Warnings of an incorrect typing are hidden and need to be searched for - found by accident. Email alerts are flaky on some email addresses that are successfully used by my brokerage company. I could go on, but it does no good. Unfortunately, if I find another institution with a more reliable App, I will move my money.

  • It won’t access the camera on my iPhone

    I guess that broke with the last update. There’s no way to tell the app by going into settings or privacy or a camera to link to the app. So there’s no way to remotely deposit checks at the moment using an iPhone.
