Needs a lot of work
This has the bones of something promising, but right now it’s basically an alpha product at best. The library is fairly empty; has a few Western songs in it (about 20 - but that’s counting nursery rhymes!) and the rest are Eastern artists I’ve never heard of. That wouldn’t really matter if the tracks included the music, but of the 5 tracks I’ve tried so far only one included the original music. The tracks without the original audio don’t even approximate it by playing the transcribed notes, which is a strange and jarring omission for a music app.
Couple this with random error messages and poorly translated English, and it makes for a very disappointing experience. It is a poor companion to the Populele 2.
Hopefully it is improved significantly over time to match the quality of the Populele 2’s hardware, as the promise of this app is really the only reason for buying the instrument.

can’t create an account
I have removed the original version populele and retried the latest popumusic apple app
scanned the mailed QR code to download and then
manually removed and directly down loaded again from the app store
did multiple attempts with multiple emails to generate an account
(even tried password recovery)
the emailed code for verification ( comes quickly) immediately fails
I do not have a facebook account to link
sent an email asking for help but no reply
liked the original version with the older uke, have not been successful with the new U1 version Uke and the new Popumusic app
looking forward to an update ( or getting smarter on what to do)
