Good learning and fun

This is a great app for learning the ukulele it does need some improvements like with the scales game it’s not overly accurate and kicks people out of the game at random which doesn’t teach anyone anything and also the timer on the lessons to continue onto the next needs to go it doesn’t help with improvement and can move too fast for most people who want to improve. Also the speed of songs cause some go way too fast and are just not playable at a fast speed. A suggestion for the wishing well is recommendations for people that can’t remember the name of a song or are at a different levels or something that ask them before they submit a song if they are sure if they would like to do it cause it’s difficult for beginners to work out how the feature is supposed to work. Overall a great app with room for improvements 😀

I played guitar years ago and know nothing about ukuele this app shows everything - Video tutorials showing you everything you need to know and a good instructor to keep you interested - 10 minutes to find where to place redemption code that is my only complaint - everything else is 5 stars

Crashes my M1 MacBook Pro (updated)

I really want to try this from my computer but the app launches, plays the intro music notes, then crashes. I've installed several updates to this app hoping the problem will be resolved but it hasn't in over 6 mo. Please fix it. (I have tried uninstalling the app and re-installing it to no avail)

update- several updates since my review and the problem was never addressed or resolved by the developer. 👎👎😕

The app doesn’t even load

It gave me a message “Fail to update resource file”. I don’t know what happened. Without the app, how can I learn how to use this instrument. Help!

Error on resource files

I’ve now reinstalled twice and on loading I get an error saying “Failed to load resource files try again”…. App won’t work.

App is improving but still disappointing

I agree with others that the jump from “easy” to “medium” is vast. Also, many songs don’t have audio for the “notation” option. Recently, the app isn’t saving my progress and making me repeat lessons in the course before going on.

I really hope this improves greatly before too long. I love the Populele but it’s not as usable without a good app to teach me.

Don’t waste your money

Don’t waste your money on their products or downloading the app. I ordered the ukulele and it arrived 4 months late. The online lessons are an absolute joke and a waste of time, they don’t work properly so therefore I can’t even go on to the second lesson as each lesson is locked until you complete the one previous. Impossible to complete the lessons as you need the strum along to the metronome but the app doesn’t register the strumming properly so it fails you. I’ve tried over 200 times, until my strumming finger bled infact and I couldn’t strum anymore. Don’t waste you time or money on this product.

Hello, thanks foe your support, you can use the redemption code to unlock the lessons in the app, please make sure your strings are in tune when you practice, then you can pass the level quickly.

A neat instrument, app is a trash fire

I waited four months after the promised arrival time for the Populele 2 pro, and it's a neat uke, but the lessons aren't especially helpful and the song selection isn't good (maybe if you're into Chinese artists?) I can't access the store to see if there are more songs (the screen flashes and goes blank). If I paid full price for any of this I'd be super angry.

Fantastic instrument let down by app

I was delighted to receive my Populele today after understandable delays.

However, I can’t get the app working so I am not able to start the lessons. Is there any help please?

I am using an iphone?
