  • Great game!

This game is awesome. Love the graphics! No bug issues even on the iPhone 6s
  • Very exciting! wanting more!

The game I didn’t know I needed! Love the game, love how when I get closer to the actual areas of fighting those sounds get louder, I love the mechanics, I love the visuals, but I want more! On your website it doesn’t tell us anything yet, but I want to know... can we currently unlock the other heroes? (If so I don’t know how) Will there be more maps? Will there be 2v2? And I wish I could choose to play a friend even on local WiFi or something, there’s also no way to communicate with anyone else on the game, not even a forum, so hard to connect to the community. Seems a shame, but the game is sooooo fun, I just want a little more content, especially with my money’s, potentially would love to pay for (or get for free wink wink ;))more skins/win effects (like both robots high five) and maps. Since it’s a paid app of course not so many iap but please use our money and give us more content cause Id love to play my friends and destroy in this fun game.

  • Still Crashing

Unplayable. Still crashes on iPad Pro even after applying the update 1.1.0. Needs more testing
  • Needs updating

Love the concept of the game and the visuals, however definitely needs some updating. For one, multiple times I’ve seen hero’s shoot through objects like rock and mountains. Like, really? And, like other people have said the hero’s require way to much control to be able to play the game effectively. I had to launch the tutorial 5 times in order to complete it, as if you pressed the hero icon to move it, before the you pressed next on the tutorial message the hero would just stay where it was and the button couldn’t be pressed again, so you were essentially stuck there until you completely reopened the app. Further more, again, like others discussed, the tutorial needs to be more helpful, you get put in a game without any knowledge of the objectives or what to do. And finally the set up of the map is way to difficult and in accurate, like why can’t you make the map smaller so that it would fit on whatever surface you were playing on, instead of going over the edge.
Overall I see massive potential for the game.

Hi. Thanks for your feedback - it is really appreciated. There are definitely some aspects of the game that we are looking to improve and polish. Also, we are refining the on boarding experience, revising some parts and mechanics of the tutorial to make it clearer for new players. With regards to the set up of the map, we have made some changes in version 1.1.0, allowing ARKit to detect surfaces also through "features points". While this shouldn't affect tracking much, it will make detection and alignment easier under any lighting and surface condition. We are also evaluation the possibility to allow players to revise the size of the map and its rotation. Many in the community have provided similar feedback and we are keen on testing it. We just want multiplayer to be as fair as possible and that's why we have been keeping the map size standard until now. Please keep the comments coming, we love to hear from players - your contribution makes the game better!
  • Really disappointed for $4.99

The app runs on my 1st gen iPad Pro but the experience is so disappointing. I was able to start playing but it didn’t detect my table properly, so the game platform looks like it is hovering above the table surface instead of sitting on the table like a board game.

I was also not very successful at placing the game correctly where I wanted it and couldn’t rotate the board before placing it. The result was a game sitting weirdly on the table and just not a great AR experience.

Finally, the scale of the game just feels very unnatural. It feels like it is too large for the room and I was unable to scale it to make it feel more proportional to my living room.

I’d like my money back, because this isn’t the AR experience I was expecting for $4.99. I hope the developer takes my feedback into consideration and makes some improvements for future releases.

Hi! Thanks for the feedback. It is very important to us. In the new version 1.1.0, we have improved the alignment process. Previously we were allowing ARKit to only detect existing surface planes. It is great for tracking but we understand that in some cases, it made it difficult for certain people under poor lighting conditions or with very smooth uniformed surface with little contrast. In the new version ARKit, after trying to detect existing surface right in front of you, will switch to 'feature points' detection. It shouldn't affect tracking much and it will allow to find surface faster. On the second point you raised regarding the map size - this is a suggestion that comes from many in the community. We hear you. On one hand we want to make sure that especially in multiplayer matches, everyone starts with the same sized map. But we do realize that may not be optimal for players in a smaller space. We are looking into it and allowing to reduce size of the map may be the way to go. We are going to do some testing, so stay tuned :). If plane detection is still an issue after the appoint, could you please reach out directly to our support email (support@directivegames.com) so we can investigate further? We want you to enjoy the game and work with you until all the issues are fixed. Thanks!
  • Unresponsive... can’t even get through tutorial

iPhone 7+ iOS 11 and the app is poorly responsive. To move through the tutorial tapping the next on the info bubbles requires a precision tap in the right spot at the right time lol. Finally got to the “To move your Hero” bit and no matter how I positioned the cursor in the highlighted area and tapped on my Hero’s portrait in the lower corner... no dice. To buggy and not responsive enough for a $5 app out of the gate. Will be requesting a refund.

  • What an awesome game to demonstrate the potential of AR

Great example of demonstrating the potential and power of AR. Good game to show and impress your friends. The gameplay and controls are difficult to get used to. The difficulty of the first few should be made easier so players can use to the gameplay and control and the objectives of the missions need to be clear and obvious. Best AR games on iOS!

  • Disappointed (hot game)

I was very excited to try what I had seen in the keynote, but two pretty serious problems seem to be occurring for me. The game crashes on my iPad Pro after a couple of minutes and becomes very hot to the touch. It hasn’t crashed on my iPhone 7 Plus because the phones becomes almost too hot to touch within a minute and I haven’t been able to play it long enough to see if crashes also. The heat was very surprising. The plane detection and rendered art look great however.

Hi! thanks for leaving your feedback, much appreciated. Please note that there is a new version 1.1.0. Could you please try to download it if you haven't done it yet? It does address some of the issues, especially the crashes on the iPad Pro 10.5. There was a sneaky bug that has been squashed. With regards to the issue of heat, we try very hard to find a balance between performance and graphics/special effects/visual fidelity. We work very hard to optimize as much as possible but there is definitely do better. Our engineers will continue to do additional profiling aimed at optimizing content so that heat doesn't become an issue. In fact, in the new version, this has also been improved. If you notice the difference with version 1.1.0, we would appreciate if you could consider revising your rating. If you don't notice any improvement, could you please reach out to us directly at our support email (support@directivegames.com) so that we can obtain more details and work towards solving the issues? Thanks in advance.
  • Works well, I love it

I have an iPhone 7 Plus, it works perfectly fine on it, no stutters or anything! :) my only issue is finding a surface to play on, it never works on tables, only rugs on the floor and stuff. But I think that’s a limitation with the newborn ARKit, rather than this game. Because all my AR games using ARKit have this issue
