  • Version 1.x ok, version 2.0 not ok

Was good until version 2.0 in feb 2020. It still connects to sensor, shows current temp of 37F, but chart shows nothing. I was happy with chart of temp in versions 1.x
  • Don’t trust

This software was completely ruined by a recent update. Very buggy. Unacceptable for a piece of equipment and software I depend on. Replacing my device with another brand asap
  • Was good until update

This was a decent app until the recent update. Now history pretty much worthless. Keeps saying too far from device. Never had those problems before update. Please fix or revert to old version.
  • Used to work, no longer saving readings

Used to work great with version 1.5 since it automatically updated to version 2.0 it’s giving wildly inaccurate temperature readings and no longer saving the temperature readings
  • Do NOT update

The app used to be decent but it just gets worse and worse with the last 2 updates. Temp reading is way, way, way off now and the calibration setting they just added does not work.
  • Bad update

The new update takes a great and useful app and introduces bugs and gimmicks. It’s a big downgrade.

First, for those in the US, I really hate Fahrenheit but that’s what we use here. Fahrenheit temperature display is broken in this version.

Second, the former charting package used to let you zoom in, zoom out, and see over-temp and under-temp conditions in the chart. All that has been removed for a much less useful charting system.

For users of the old App, I suggest you don’t upgrade to this version. If you did, I suggest using Celsius, and Fahrenheit conversion is very broken for me in this app.

I’m not sure what they were trying to do with this new app, but it is very unfortunate.

  • History

Stopped giving me history of device readings 2 months ago cannot track readings for range of dates. Have had to resort to writing daily reading at the same time each day. Very annoying.
  • Nice

I don’t write many reviews, but I have to write about this one.
First it takes about a minute to set up. The apps is so easy to use. It has all the things you need to monitor temperatures of something. In my case it’s my pool water temperature.
I used to own a $150 temperature data logger that was not nearly 1/10th of this unit. It was a pain to use with data transfers.
The only thing I would suggest is to have different types of temp probes or sensors. For example: if someone cooks beef broths over night, the metal probe should be long enough (8”) to avoid greasy fats and heat.
I like the magnetic back so that you can attach the body to a metal panel. Please make it stronger. I don’t mind paying more if you make a commercial unit. Good job!

  • Worked great for a while

This stopped working. Any updates? I bought two, both don’t work.
  • Not as advertised

Not as advertised. I’m showing connected but when I go to setting it says not connected. It make sense that it’s not connected because there is no data to graph high hopes with huge disappointment. Of course typical designed and manufactured in Shenzhen China. Chinese typically scrimp on design and materials.
