Great Application but crashes frequently

I love using this application on my iPad when I am on the go but after watching 3-4 consecutive videos, the application tends to freeze and will crash. It definitely is annoying after a while since it happens so frequently. The other issue I have is either the picture-in-picture will work or decide not work at all, I have to fully close the app and hope it works once I reopen it. If it was not for these issues, I would definitely give the app 5 Stars because I do love their content and enjoy the videos.

Aways buggy as hell for me

No idea why, but for whatever reason the ACG app has never worked properly for me. Run an iPhone 13, always fully up to date. Yet parts of the app (usually search), just simply do not work.

I get messages that “we’re having trouble connecting to the internet. Check your connection”. Yet every other app (even normal browsing of in progress courses in ACG), works perfectly. It only affects the search in this app.

So, as a way to continue courses you’ve already started, then it’s OK, but if you can’t search the training catalog then it’s a bit of a problem.

Makes studying easy

The short videos within ACG covers a specific concept. The app allows for studying in between meetings or killing time in the evening. I haven’t used the download functionality but I look forward to using that on travel with limited signal.

ACloudGuru Just Right Learning

I have been using ACG for a few weeks now and I have to say that I really like it. I have used a number of video based online learning platforms. ACG really has their act together and brings you right through the material with integrated lab content matching the coursework. It is a great experience to learn here.

Highly recommended for ppl who want to take AWS certifications.

The instructors are very knowledgable! I learnt a lot from A Cloud Guru.

Buggy

Good overall but quite buggy. There are issues where it attempts to do full screen based on the gyro, which just works horribly… the web player just isn’t responsive… the automatic playing of next part skips the quiz… the labs are web only…

Best ACG app update by far!

I’m a lot more comfortable using the app to do my learning now. Maybe I didn’t notice before but I am finding the UI much easier to use or look at. The search bug finally fixed too and strangely I never appreciated how much content is available. I do now and will be using ACG as my main learning provider going forward.

ACL is good place to learn Cloud stuff

Good place to learn all things Cloud. Merging of Linux Academy and ACL has make things even better, more courses to compare and choose from. Mobile app is handy to finish most of your learning when ever you get few mins to spare. What you miss is Labs though. I know you cant attend the lab on phone but atleast the video of it should be made available on mobile app..

Cloud Guru

What I found special about their courses is that the instructors did amazing job squeezing the info you need for work and exam at the same time and put that in videos. On top of that the are the only one who provide “real” playground to sandbox your labs. Rivals will provide you with celebrity instructors who will throw hours of recording at you plus materials to read on your own with no labs or sandboxes to practice.
If you read till this point you know that you need to look no further 😊
