Good News Format but sometimes feezes
I like this news format and content. The display gets hung up sometimes and sometimes scrolling through articles it jumps back a few pages or doesn’t want to continue down in the article.

I read the News Slide just about every morning and enjoy the presentation. I do wish, however, that the app would auto delete stories from prior days. Unfortunately, every couple of months I have to delete and reinstall the app to free up storage space.
Wonky Frequently Freezes
App tries, but has some issues with freezing for a number of seconds, then suddenly lurches forward. Zooming in on a section with pinch motion frequently freezes. Swiping from page to page frequently freezes.
PGe App
My only criticism is that the app needs deleted and reinstalled every few months. It starts opening slower and slower and over time articles won’t open.
Freezes frequently
I read on an iPad Pro and have no problems with any other Apps. Virtually every day this app freezes and won’t allow movement from page to page. Today the app would not let me go past page B1. I have switched back to Safari to read…more reliable.
Frustrating App
I use this app daily to read the Post-Gazette. It just keeps getting worse and more frustrating. It takes a long time for the paper to load. It crashes often. It freezes or lags constantly where I cannot move around or zoom in or out. If lags almost every time I zoom in on text. Sometimes the lag is 20-30 seconds at a time before it responds again. Since I no longer have the print edition of the paper available, this is my only option to read the newspaper in a traditional paper layout. I am ready to cancel my subscription since the app is never updated and the issues are never fixed. Please update the bugs in this app before you lose even more subscribers!

News is great, app is not
I love the news but the app has issues. It keeps freezing. Sometimes after freezing it crashes and reloads. Sometimes it randomly crashes and reloads. If I leave the page or shut off my phone, sometimes it keeps my place but mostly it doesn’t.
Freezes
Screens freeze too often. Especially when trying to work the puzzles and crosswords. It’s kind of frustrating to freeze every 4-5 minutes for at least 30 seconds! Too bad that no one can fix it!
Sub par
On almost a daily basis upon opening the app,the left side of the page is cut off. I have to delete the app, reinstall and scroll through the instructions for the hundredth or so time. Then we’re met with articles that end in mid sentence and random pages of editions published days earlier. Who does your IT? The Amish?

Yesterday’s news
I was born and raised in Pittsburgh. I’m glad to read about my hometown, though I have lived abroad for decades. I like the balance of articles, op eds and lifestyle.
One thing I don’t understand is why PGe inserts pages from yesterday’s paper in the current edition. Please fix this bug.
