  • Worth it

    I’ve always believed that this app was invented and maintained by real photographers to help me make my photos cooler.That’s why I have no problem purchasing the pro version.
  • Why do developers do this?

    I bought afterlight when it first came out and paid for a number of in app purchases which all appear on my apple account. Imagine my surprise and disappointment when coming bakc to download it today it appears I no longer own any of it, the app and extras in bought don’t appear to exist when I download this no and click restore nothing. It’s like buying a car and having it repossessed even though you paid in full. Very disappointed and would advise people to steer clear you may buy it today and have it but will it still “exist” or be yours in a year… can’t be sure, invest in something more secure.

  • Subscription based

    10 years ago this stuff used to be a 99 cent app, now it’s all insanely expensive subscriptions. I understand developers need to make money, but ios photo editing it not pro software.

  • What’s wrong with this app???

    28 Jan 2024 There are some issues with this app. I have a Lifetime subscription and every time I use one of the custom filters (especially the new ones) the first change seems to work fine; but, any attempt to continue with another image, the application shows all of the filters with a “downloading spinner” including over the image and at that point the app is completely locked up and I have to kill the app. Restarting the app does not change this; nor does powering down the iPad Pro 12.9” Gen 5 or Gen 3 . It happens on both. I give the app 3 stars for the UI and what it attempts to do; but, until the lockups are fixed, it will sit at three stars instead of five where it once was. PLEASE FIX YOUR APP!

    The developer has contacted me regarding the forwarding of these issues to them along with documentation of them and the devices and OSes. That information was sent tonight to them in hopes that they can get to the bottom of all three issues I have experienced on both a Gen 3 and Gen 5 iPad Pro 12.9”. Will see if the can get resolved.

  • Crashing

    I’ve had this app for years but now I can’t seem to use the app without it crashing as soon as I try and open it.

  • I love this app so much and have been using it since release. I just wish it didn’t crash so much when choosing filters, no matter how many app updates it’s still something that seems to persist. However, the updates and new features are incredible and my photos always turn out so lovely.

    I always use the app, and I have for so many years, it’s been my go to for photo editing, but as of recently, I can’t even open the app:/

  • Good overall but needs improvement

    I have an issue with fusion filters not saving all the steps I did. Some custom fusion filters do not include certain edits, like if you used another filter. That is insane that I’m saving a fusion filter and it’s not at all the same and not making my photos look the same because the app left out several steps and then I’m left not being able to remember what I did. This is extremely frustrating and defeats the purpose of creating a fusion filter out of the work I just did on an edit.

    Also, why can’t I add fusion filters to my favorites tab? I should be able to add whatever filter I want to the favorites tab and not just the Original, Legacy, and Collection filters.

    Please consider these updates.
