It is not bad.
For a free app, it is pretty good. But for the official interface for very expensive scuba equipment, it is a bit disappointing.
The best part is it works. I have an oceanic pro plus 4 and it interfaces well. It downloads the data without much issue. It saves your basic info and displays dive water temp, max depth, dive rating, gear, much more and even has a large open field for you to add comments if you want to do it your own way. The ability to upload and share your dive by simple link (not requiring the receiver to do anything but click) is also a fun and well done feature.
The worst part is that the interface needs some quality control. It is hard to figure out how to do many things that should be obvious. I feel as if the designers might have ported it from an android app or from an old windows database program. It does not flow with iPhone ease. I believe this is why many of the reviewers rated it low - they could not figure out how to do basic things like erase sample data or fix mistaken gear bag inputs, etc. I also agree with others that all the data input could be put to better use. You cannot do much with it, like view total dive time for all dives this year or display dive locations on a map. For example, you can search dives, but if you want to search max depth, you need to search for for specifics such as “42” feet. You cannot do greater than or less than and this makes the search features limited. You can search by location though - as long as it is one location. You could not search for “Monterey” or “5 miles from Monterey breakwater”. So if you went to two locations in Monterey they will not both show up.
Enough said. The app is great for its free price and it has some awesome features. It is disappointing however as part of expensive equipment purchases. This is due to the lack of QC, stylistic editing and user interface.

Adding photos and videos
I cannot add photos or videos why ?
Dive locations +
Added dive sites. When I dive at the previous location I have to put in the coordinates all over again Really can’t go to dive locations to update
No summary of total hours under water
Proplus4 provides the above surface temperature but it doesn’t move to download. It’s not something I want to remember if it’s there

Network error
Unable to log in. Network error every time. Happening on multiple devices for multiple people in my household. Garbage.
Disappointment from the first minute
I have an Oceanic Pro Plus 4.0 dive computer and just downloaded your software - DiverLog+.
My disappointment started from the moment I was trying to register - I am getting a message "Network Error".
Not being able to register I tap on "Skip" and the main menu opened.
I was trying to put the information about my gears but made a mistake in the desired gear bag name - now I cannot delete a gear bag - ? Neither I can delete a piece of equipment I've created inside the gear bag.
In addition - it works only in vertical orientation of the iPad. I have iPadPro and I would like to use it in horizontal orientation to have more information on the screen, especially graphs - cannot do that!!!
After working with dive computer and this software for some time I think major issues are:
1. App is not rotated on iPad - cannot use horizontal orientation;
2. Graph with ascend speed must be present - will allow for a great deal of learning from each dive, especially gor beginners ;

Not user friendly
Uploading log information via Bluetooth is about the only easy thing. Adding locations via gps coordinates doesn’t save, even after typing in multiple times. Map continuously shows the middle of Africa.
Ok but could be so much better
I use this with my i200C. My chief complaints: You can’t add a dive location via GPS coordinates. You used to be able to drop a dive flag pin in the map as your location but that no longer works. Would be very helpful if you could add/edit dive locations outside of the log menu. The option to add buddies from Facebook exists but doesn’t work. The app has a ton of data points you can input but needs basic functions to work first.

Overall good app missing one key feature
Overall works fine, it looks a bit outdated and could use a facelift. However, the main feature I believe this app is missing is how many total hours, days, months you have spent underwater. Another app I use calculates that and it is just a cool stat to know. Add this feature and its 5 stars.
Small issues
There is an issue where you cannot manually update the gps pistons after the dive and have it permanently saved the log other wise the app is great.
Great... but needs some more features!
Great app to log dives and set up my dive computer (Aqualung i770).
No need to use set up on the dive computer as the app allows you to do it.
Unfortunately the app/i770 (unlike Suunto) doesn’t allow you to set a mix of imperial and metric settings on the dive computer. It’s either one or the other!! I would really like to have the choice to choose metres, psi and centigrade. This is frustrating given my Sunnto dive computer/app is so flexible and allows the configuration mix.
Please do a firmware update....
