  • Quite possible the worst game I’ve played on iPad

Not only is there no introduction for how to do anything - if you’re stupid like I was & pay for no ads, you will still have to watch them. There is no avoiding the ads! To anyone out there who’s considering giving this a go, please read this warning.

  • Nice and simple but a lot glitches

    Lots of glitches
  • Potential

This game has potential but right now it’s is very dysfunctional. There is very little explanation on how to play the game. What is the point of a manager vs a worker. In order to figure that out I had to spend my gems in a trial and error fashion. There is no point in working on more than one house at a time. The money gets all messed up. Offers go down. You end up loosing money. There is also really no goal. It’s very simple, you pick a house, satisfy the wants of the buyer with the highest offer and then sell. There is no goal, no challenge and it requires no strategy. It was fun for about an hour or so but I’ve reached about 1,000,000 cash and I’m bored.

  • Could be fun, but there are too many ads

There’s so many ads for the game. Even when I hit the “settings” button, it will pop to an ad before letting switch anything! Also, there are so many variables that make it seem like the game just wants you to buy stuff from them.

During the renovations, you have about 4 minutes to change and fix areas. When you start to fix things, they usually take two minutes to finish. That would be fine, but during every renovation it will stop the work for various reasons, and you have to use gems to move forward. A lot of the time if you choose to wait, you won’t have enough time to play the game.
Way too much work just to play a game

  • Good, more to improve

This game is actually perfect balance of time and fun and actually flipping houses. But... there is no goal, there is nothing new once you get up to 800,000. You aren't trying to get to a certain amount of money, and you cant do rentals. There is no strategy or reason in buying or renovating. It is good for 30 minutes of fun but then it gets boring. Please bring about some goals or challenges or new houses

  • Good but needs improving

The game is good but after a while it gets a little boring. Because you have a 5 min time limit to renovate and sell your house once you have brought it, it’s best to hire all your workers and get them doing their jobs in case of any issues like damaged water pipes in the game. I reckon that you should be able to zoom in to the house and be able to watch the workers decorate the house rather than do nothing.
Regards to reading other reviews, yes people have said that you need to pay the red gems to complete renovations quickly so you can upgrade again but I have noticed that when you do that, your profit does go up on the house but yet no one offers you more money for it which I think is very disappointing. So it’s better to just not use the gems and just get the little profit and only use them when really needed. You do also get 1-3 gems at the end of every sale.

  • Give it a go....it’s great

Reading all the bad reviews I have to say I disagree with them. People are right when they say it’s almost always raining - that’s a bit of an annoyance - but otherwise this game is great!

You can do more than one task at a time so people saying they can barely get through one task aren’t playing the game properly imo.

It costs a little more to do your repairs as you have to hire a specialist if doing more than one task at a time, but it’s a worthy investment. As long as you are keeping an eye on the game it’s easy to make money.

For people who enjoy idle games this one definitely isn’t for you, but for people who like to sit down and chill out while actively playing then it’s worth the time it takes.

It works fine on the go with a decent 4G signal but doubt it’d work if you were low on data, which is another reason for giving this 4 rather than 5 stars.

Once you’ve got the hang of it, it’s a fun game to pass 10 minutes here or there....recommended.

  • Can’t turn off the music

    ***UPDATE***
    21 October 2018...
2 months after original review, and I still can’t turn off the music or sounds permanently!

And OMG! SO many ads! Even if they are short, it’s annoying that every time I do something, I have to watch another ad! Even to go into the settings menu!

NO APP UPDATES = ONE STAR RATING!!!

  • Could be a good game

Very little guidance in the start. I believe if they did it would expose all the cons to this game right away and make you give up. The delays are so often and ridiculous. You can’t hire the same contractor to work on multiple houses. They just pull off the first one in the middle of the work. You loose your hire fee and cost of improvements.
Then I tried using the contractors you buy with gems and they are only good for one house then you must pay for them again. Oh and the cost of gems go up not just on the one you hired but all of them.
I am deleting the game. I may check back some other time in the future because this game does have potential.

  • Pretty good game design but major UX glitches

Pro: Frustrating at first but once I figured out that I can hire multiple contractors to work on properties at the same time, game became much more satisfying.

Cons: So many: 1) Multiple pop-ups that lay over each other and interrupt game play. They are annoying to navigate; 2) Pop-ups that notify you about weather or delivery delays navigate you to different homes, even if you’re in the middle of a transaction. That transaction now applies to a different home but there is no way of knowing because you are literally about to complete it. For example, you are buying work on Home B within a pop-up. Home A has a rain delay. You’re still in the pop-up but the background (greyed out) has transitioned back to Home A. You complete the purchase, only to find out it has been applied to Home A. Consequences: Home A is now going to need more time, Home A’s expenses have increased, Home A’s net value has decreased, Home B isn’t getting the upgrade, and you’re not aware of any of this; 3) The algorithm for when a weather or delivery delay occurs needs to be addressed. I constantly find myself in a situation where I have 20 seconds left on a house, just a few seconds left on the construction upgrades, and then a 1:45 delay pops up, requiring me to pay to end the delay. It happens frequently enough that I’m close to deleting the game.

Please fix these issues, especially with the pop-ups and home navigation.
