Not working
It not working and I have restart it and I am not sure what is main or wrong with it. I am deaf and I don’t understand what is issues on this. DisappointingFun hunting
Disappointed.....
I tried using this app and it does not work as good as I hoped it would. It kept giving only 1-2 words Out of entire sentence. To me, not worth the $10 bucks....fulgur-kcd
Tried it today
I just bought this and it’s hit and miss. I’m hoping you improve the ability of this to transpose accurately what is said and that you do this quickly. Maybe I had too high of a hope.BuffykayP
Having to press clear text with long pause communication
I was watching NASA TV and I have to clear text every time there’s a long pause with the communication between crews of Dragon & Mission control. How do you fix that so that I don’t have to press “clear text”. Other people don’t have the ability to wear hearing aid and wonder why nothing shows up after long pause of communication. I was expecting more. I thought it would translate the radio when the news is on. But it doesn’t.
Also you have to have it closer to the speaker to record talking.

Hi, the app isn’t designed for the radio. It is designed for in person conversations.Are you using it for internet radio? Hi Brandon, I’m so excited to have found the My Ear app. It was shared on a group I’m a member of
“ Meniere’s Awareness Project“ and they shared it yesterday.
I have tried several different apps and was always disappointed.
Your app is just what I need.
I noticed that it also loaded onto my Apple Watch 5 which is really great. I can hold my iPhone towards the person speaking and I can read what they are saying on my watch. This way I don’t have to use headphones to capture what they are saying.
I sent you an email because I could not find a solution in the FAQ’s.
When I clear the conversation on my iPhone, it doesn’t clear on my watch. I tried closing the app on both the iPhone and watch. When I went back it was still clear from the iPhone but still on the watch. The only thing that worked was to actually turn the Watch off.
There has to be an easier way to clear the watch.
But I must say, overall, I’m extremely pleased and grateful with your app.Show lessgma2

I tried everything to get this app to work. No luck. I had it far away and then right next to people talking and it never picked up anything. Waste of money.CAM8303
Using the app
Hi Brandon. I bought the app but I think I misunderstood it’s use. I thought it was for telephone calls but actually it’s for being in the same room as a deaf person. Is this correct? No telephone assistance? I just wasted $10 if so. My bad.

No hidden fees, accurate transcription, questions answered
My mom has profound hearing loss. Her hearing aids offer little help now. I tried four different “free with in-app purchase” voice to text apps. I was not satisfied with any of them and felt tricked into paying an annual fee for supplemental tools, such as grammar and punctuation, that were necessary to make those other apps useable.
MyEar was the fifth app and the best. I appreciate the one-time, up-front cost. The transcription has the highest accuracy of the five apps I downloaded. It even correctly spelled common Hawaiian words: Honolulu, Waikiki and Ala Moana! My mom lives in Honolulu so this is a huge plus!
What sets this app apart from any app I have purchased is the support. I had a number of questions about compatibility and programming. I received detailed answers within 24 hours. Excellent product and service.Show lessthankful 4 help w/ mom
