Poor Execution of Good Concept
Crucial but needs integration and work. Love it
So far the sites we use are;
BC Wildfires- slow to update
Emergency Operations Centre website, no app - used for map of alert and Evac perimeters etc
Windy- for wind direction and weather
Drive BC website, no app for escape routes and road closures
X- the old Twitter, but it’s cumbersome to see the most recent citizen updates and you must have an account, and it has a limit on number of views per day
If all could be combined it would be good.

When the app works, it works fine for where I live. But without notifications, it’s kinda useless.

We apologize that you have run into this issue. If your Settings for the Voyent Alert! app doesn't list a "Notifications" entry, something has gone wrong. We apologize that you have run into this issue. This app uses your phone's "Language & Region" setting to determine the country that you would like service for. This setting can be found under "Settings->General->Language&Region->Region". The region selected (Canada or United States) is used to select the country of service for the app. Please contact us at app.support@voyent-alert.com if we can provide further assistance. Thank you.
no way to subscribe to multiple service providers

In addition, you can also add multiple different Contact Methods (App, Email, SMS, or Voice Call) to your account. Multiple locations not allowed

Unable to subscribe to multiple areas
When signing up the app recognizes that 2 providers use this app, and it states that you can sign up for multiple locations. However, after selecting my town I cannot find any way to add the regional district to the app.
As a result I’ve had to register my phone number on their website to receive texts and call (for critical alerts only).
PLEASE update this app to allow you to add multiple areas when signing up.
