  • The golden rose book 1

The golden rose is one of the best, if not THE best, choice of games I’ve read. This is one that I had a hard time putting down. The romance was natural and it actually made me feel giddy. The NPCs were actually fleshed out and have their own interesting backgrounds. I found myself caring for them. The story itself as a whole left me wanting so much more of this world. Thank you for writing such a beautiful story. I can’t wait for the sequel!

  • The Irish Boar is anything but

What a surprising game this one has been. I don’t usually read ya nothing less than 100,000 words but I’m glad I did this time.
Here is to hoping the next book is longer and has more choice depth.
  • Overall great!

I’ve been using this app for quite a few years and overall I love it! I’ve gotten many of the stories on here and am happy to be able to support the authors. That being said, the app has been restarting the books when I’m half way through them and that’s a bit annoying so hopefully it gets fixed soon.

  • Help T - T

It’s a really good app, but yesterday it crashed. I’ve deleted and re-downloaded twice and it still won’t open up for me :(
  • The Golden Rose

An amazing game! Beautifully written and detailed, in most titles I’ve played that has longer descriptions of the environment it’s felt tiresome and irrelevant, but in Rose the author has such talent that their writing brings you into the world of the game(as it should be considering it’s all written word)

If you want to play a game where everyone down to the passing background characters are interesting and well written then I would definitely give this story a try, it’s well worth the money!

The story is so, so interesting. I love how the main character even has their own background independent of your roleplay so that they feel part of the story instead of just an observer of events which can happen in some games.

It’s a long read with tons of places to explore and things to do so I highly recommend it. I’ve been waiting a few years since the demo released to play the full experience and I can tell you it exceeded my already high expectations.

I could go on for many more paragraphs singing the authors praises, but instead I’ll begin my next playthrough of The Golden Rose

  • Game doesn’t save correctly

I’ve been playing the new release: Life of a Space Force Captain and the game keeps losing my progress and forcing me to restart. I play/ read a lot of these games and enjoy it a lot but if y’all could fix this bug that’d be great!
  • Just WOW

Mike Walter is a genius! I just got done reading/playing Life of a Space Force Captain and it exceeded my expectations! It reminded me of Mass Effect and Interstellar. The characters all had very distinct personalities and the choices you make really change everything in the game. I'm blown away and I'm about to play through it again. Can't wait to try out more of Mike's work.

  • All Awesome EXCEPT for a REALLY Annoying Glitch

There are some games that I really love but have given up on just because they keep resetting to the very beginning when I log off the app no matter how far I am into the game. I wish saving your place in the game were an option for all games, but it’s not so I’m scared of closing the app now lest I have to start over.
There are some games that never do this, however, and my experience in those cases is practically perfect. Again, the only complaint is not having a save option.

  • Monthly Subscription

I think you guys should do a monthly subscription sorta deal, I’ve been playing these sorta games as a youth and I loved them, I would definitely invest money into this app if I didn’t have to spend money on individual stories but instead a monthly subscription where I have a package deal in my horizon, meaning every story is playable with said monthly subscription.

  • Great in theory, bad in practice

Don’t get me wrong, I love having all of my games in one place that I can access “at any time” (when I have a Wi-Fi connection).

However, this, and the Choice of Games app, are very buggy, even after three years since their debuts. For one, my games never seem to track my purchases across devices. I’ve had three different phones over the last three years since downloading the app, and even with my account being the same through each one, I’ve had to email choice of games support to get my purchases back. Even on the choice of games website, after logging in, games I’ve purchased aren’t in my library.

My second gripe is that if I have the app open in the background, when coming back to it after a time, the app while restart whatever game I’m playing from the beginning, no matter how much I’ve progressed. I could be three pages in, or three pages til the end, and I’ll have to go through everything again.

I love every game this app has, and I’ll never delete the app, but I know you guys can do better. The omnibus apps have been out for way too long for these issues to still be present. Please, do better for your fans.
