Subscription model is expensive
I would pay for the app but the recognition is not that good and the pricing model is expensive.

This app has worked very well. It reads my handwriting and barely makes mistakes. And for the mistakes it does make, they are small and don't really affect much of the actual text. 👌👍💯
Horrible
Didn't pick up any words at all. Just put individual random letters all over the place. Even on words that I could visibly read myself. Deleting

I am considering taking my daily journal writing back to notebook and pen. But I'd like to be able to have a searchable digital version, so I decided to try this app.
On my brief test, it worked very well. It worked best when I scanned the page from my journal with a separate app, then used the photo input on this app. The prices for premium do not seem at all excessive for this ability.
I think I'm good to go with my notebook and pen + digital journaling plan.

Just what I needed!
I always take pen and paper notes as I am a relatively slow typist.
I am doing my teacher training and I always jot down ideas but they often sit in my notepad, untouched.
I wrote out a lesson plan, photographed it and this app converted it to text for ease of editing, saving me loads of time! It could then be shared via email and copied and pasted into a word document! Amazing!
Also great for to do lists!!

Finally!
I’ve finally found an app that accurately converts my handwriting to text! I then transfer the notes into my files in OneNote and I’m done. It’s definitely worth the subscription!
Poor recognition
Tried taking a picture of a handwritten note which said “I would like one Splenda and one cream in my coffee.”
It came back as the attachment below. (Totally unacceptable.) You may have to have a light stand for photography to get acceptable results, which negates the impromptu use of the app. Sorry, can’t append the screen shot of the gobbledygook to this review.

This is a great free app!
Beware- hijacks IOS function
I DL’d 2 OCR apps to try them out. To my surprise, the apps made their own folder & hijacked IOS functions preventing me from rearranging, moving the folder or deleting the folder or app. Also upon touch & holding icon to move it, the ONLY choice the app has is to share it. Sounds like a visit ehh? I returned to home page by pressing the home button. Then tried holding touch on another folder to activate change mode. The “Business” folder “X” delete link was ABSENT. Behaves like a virus ehh. Finally was able to go into app/folder modify mode & opened the folder the app created for itself & deleted all the misbehaving apps. Will check notifications page & others to make sure this wasn’t a malignant app leaving bits of itself to allow hackers access to my personal data.
