recently i have seen a lot of people hating on this game for reasons that i can’t aggree with, the holo-live event might not have been the best, and the new origins update has brought a lot of change, but not all change is bad.
the game overall is amazing and something that i play everyday. the community is amazing and very helpful, and though the game might be a little difficult to pick up at first, there are many people there to help you get on your feet.
the game has an AMAZING story and is absolutely worth playing through in its entirety. i have not seen a story that has had me this engrossed for a very long time, and i highly recommend it to anyone who wants to play a game with a story that feels like a very well written book.
the combat is very fresh and doesn’t feel like the many many games out there.
all i have to say is i love this game and don’t be deterred by some of the recent negative reviews.Show lessb00bielover

Not only am I slow to even get the awakened ssr’s but the banners just roll around and i nearly miss another because the garbage pity system is too high. When I do the ranked I then see the whales who have it early as well as merged players using units the rest don’t have. New ui is kind of annoying to navigate with the side stories because it looks like a maze. Also this constellation system is horrible and reminds me of genshin impact which is kinda making me want to uninstall the game. Also why do you give these awakened SSR selectors and let me choose a newer hero but not the one before it? YALL STAY AWAY!!!!!
forgot to mention this but they also ruined the dives, before you could sweep them or they weren’t that long but the new system is garbage and you CANT SWEEP THE MAP ONES AND DIVES ARE NOW TOO LONG!!!!!!Show lessMuhammed10
Latest update ruining the game
The latest update made resources harder to get, merged JP and GLB and made us fight each other in pvp, despite the fact JP has been around longer, has access to units GLB doesn’t have, has better gear, all around unfair. Made the ui worse, hiding information it used to display. Made it grindier and cost more stamina for less rewards.
Moved golden bins, a very coveted item you cannot farm, from a very accessible game mode (shadow palace) to a much more competitive and difficult to score well in game game mode (danger close), not to mention danger close currency is needed for end game gear, so now you have to make a decision on what you spend your hard earned currency on.
The hololive collab they did and are going to rerun was awful, completely rng based, if you were unlucky you got completely screwed out of you reward.Show lessKaranoKyoukai

Was quite excited for this because the story looks alright despite some spelling issues, but as soon as I finished the tutorial, any attempt to start the first mission ended up with an immediate crash saying failed to load.
Running on iOS 16.1 with an iPhone 13 mini, and this behaviour repeated even after an integrity check and a reinstall.

Recently they completely overhauled the UE and it’s just made the entire game a chore. I don’t mean because it’s different. I mean because every action requires much more tapping/swiping than it used to.
To farm character shards you have to go through one by one per event:
1. Tap to open the event,
2. Tap to switch to hard mode.
3. Tap the level you want to farm
4. Tap skip battle
5. Tap to increase the number of times you want to run the stage
6. Do that again cause it doesn’t automatically max it and there’s not a button for that.
7. Tap start
8. Tap to skip the weird processing time
9. Tap to complete
10. Tap back
11. Congrats! You’ve finished farming one character! Now you’ve got ~20 more to go! The screen defaults to the first event, so you’ll need to swipe to the next one. If you forget which one you’re on, because there are no titles on the event selection- don’t worry. Just keep repeating all the steps above one by one until you see one you haven’t done yet.
All farming is now like this. They wanted to improve the design, and I agree that it does LOOK great. It’s just not at all functional in any sort of way. If they built it with the expressed purpose of making everything more tedious, this would be an enormous success.Show lessjoe dee bee
