Some under-the-hood improvements to make the app slightly better and always future-proof.
It apparently has no useful trackt integration (even though it will happily let you authorize it with the site) unless you are on one of the “premium” plans. The only thing not behind the subscription paywall is the “Browse” tab. Every view just shows a list of the premium features and reviews.
IMO that’s not “premium” that’s just making the app functional as the free tier has no meaningful integration without the premium tier. “Premium” should be reserved for things that cost the provider more to operate or that are beyond the basics of the sort of app it advertises itself as.
