Needs to be better
Like most of the other reviews, it didn’t work on some pretty popular albums like imagine by John Lennon or any of the Ramones albums, also the app is extremely minimalistic. The only thing the app lets you do is record, there’s not even a settings button. Definitely seems like the app was published before being finished, and if that’s the case they should put a warning letting people know it’s still in development instead of just making people annoyed.Show lessDon’t waste your time
As you can see from other reviews, this app is stupid and you will waste your time. There should be a list of albums this does work for, or at least something to click on or do? It’s a camera app unless you have one of the 5 albums it works on. If you’re gonna make an app that’s supposed to ‘bring album covers to life’ then maybe you should include more vinyl covers?Show lessGreat For Collectors of Modern Music (I assume)
Somehow an app for vinyl visuals only had 2 of my relatively large collection (Rumours and Abbey Road). I’m not trying to say this couldn’t be great for people who collect more modern music than I typically do (I assume the remaining music they have is modern?) but the majority of vinyl is old. I’m still somewhat baffled they didn’t have Sgt. Pepper’s as it’s not only a classic but would be a really fun illustration. Even some of my more modern indie music wasn’t there so I’m assuming most of the vinyls on there are pop which is fine but I really doubt that’s the target demographic of 3D vinyl art. Most vinyl collectors are in the older music genres or indie. I hope they work to add more albums as it’s a really cool concept though!Show lessmore albums pls :(
PUHLEASEEE ADD MORE ALBUMS it only works with 1 of my vinyls :( it’s a super cool concept thoExpectations were high
So i downloaded this app after seeing it on instagram and it does have great potential but they need to add more albums onto it because i (i’m 12) used melanie martinez - crybaby, k-12, after school and whitney houston, the Beatles, beach house, the beach boys, billie eilsih was the only one that worked and i’m not the biggest fan of her but i don’t hate her it’s just it was a shame that the one i listen most to worked only :(Show lessHardly works
I tried it with a ton of my CDs and vinyl, but it only worked on nirvana and Michael Jackson, add more!No variety
It’s cool if you have an album they actually have (for example, Nevermind by Nirvana), but the variety is shocking. I wasn’t even expecting some of my more niche albums and it’s understandable, but really popular and well know albums I tried (Igor, After Hours, A Night at the Opera, just to name a few) didn’t come up. It’s got good potential but they don’t even have some really well known and popular albums and for an app that’s supposed to make albums come to life it’s a bit subpar when you don’t even have the ones that people are likely to own.Show lessNot very good
It literally only worked with ONE of my vinyls which was the beatles abbey road, not any other, only works with popular old vinylsvery few actually work
i own several very famous classic albums (e.g sgt pepper, dark side of the moon, a night at the opera) on vinyl & was surprised to see none of them had animations. the only one that did was Aladdin Sane by David Bowie.
the app is great when it actually works but more often than not it just doesn’t.Show lessneeds way more albums to be added
only really mainstream records are on this app. it didn’t work on some of the most popular albums i have like weezer and IGOR. they should’ve added more things before releasing it. the actual are it super cool though
