Gotta get the albums up. I know there’s a lot out there. And that’s an understatement. But. If you can add them without compromising quality. This will be the #1 app in the world. Or if not Top 10. 5 stars for the idea. 1 star for the product.jayee66
Billboard for the Basic
So I have a collection of vintage records, stuff I got from my mom. The Beatles, Chicago, Grand Funk Railroad, and even Cheech and Chong and trying this on all of them didn’t work. It only worked on Dr. Dre’s “The Chronic” album I bought recently and none of of the others in my collection of 100 that also has Daft Punk. This is almost false advertising to start this transformation of art medium with the most recent artists in the songbook. This could be used as a tool of culture relation and history, yet is seen as a tool to perpetuate the most surface level artists that have no relation to emotion or soul that classics can offer. This could be a tool for connection and understanding but seems to be just a cruddy billboard like the radio. Sad really.Show lessDhcjhldhabgx

This app is amazing but it must be updated and have more album covers added such as more green day this app has great potential but more should be addedthe son of rage and love
Waste of a download
It didn’t work on any of my albums. I guess it only works on today’s music which is really lame. I tried it on Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon which is one of the worlds most popular albums and nothing happened. Maybe you should finish an app to be usable by all before publishing it.persephanie343
has potential
in theory it’s a cool app but it’s extremely limited, out of my 30 vinyls including a couple modern classics like Flower Boy, Circles by Mac Miller, and Abbey Road, it only worked with Nevermind by nirvana, it’s extremely limited and there’s no library to tell you what albums do and do not work, i’m glad i didn’t spend money on this. i think in the future if they expand their library and add features other than a camera and a record button it could be cool but as of right now it’s very streamlined and basic with no real interactivity.Show lessBigDonnyTrump69420
not enough artwork/albums!
like many others, I thought this was a super cool concept and was very excited to try it on my small record collection. I have three of the most well-known album covers of all time: Dark Side of the Moon, Sgt. Pepper’s, and Abbey Road. In addition I’ve got some other classic albums (Bowie, Fleetwood Mac (not Rumours which I know does work lol), Stevie Nicks, etc.).
Of all these only Abbey Road was recognised by the app. I’m not saying they should’ve focused only on classic music, but it seems a bit silly to not have expected annoyed reviews from people who wanted to try this app out on Dark Side of the Moon. I also think they should include a library/directory page where you can see what albums they do have artwork for — that might help make people’s expectations more realistic.Show lesswofnsl
Really cool but missing a lot
I love love love the idea of this and it’s so fun to find out which albums it does work for. It has made collecting albums seem much more fun. I just hope they add things like a search of what albums they have. I hope they allow other artists to work on it so it can become even greater and more varied in art styles and albums.Show lesslaholo717
Doesn’t work on most albums
I have a very large collection of albums, including some of the best selling of all time. It worked on 3 of my 100 albums. It didn’t even work on new albums from new artists (like harry styles)
