Description of MyURMedicine

As a UR Medicine patient, you can use our MyURMedicine mobile app to access your MyChart, a free online tool, for UR Medicine patients, that gives you access to your medical record anytime, anywhere. The UR Medicine mobile app also helps you find and get directions to our hospitals, urgent care, imaging, and lab locations; view information on more than 1,300 of our specialists; and read up on the latest UR Medicine health and wellness information. Using MyChart you can: • View your test results, diagnoses, medications, and immunizations. • Request appointments and prescription renewals. • Send a message to your health care team. • Organize all your medical information into one personal health record. • View and pay your bill online. • Upload health and fitness data, including data from the Apple Health app (when enrolled in self-tracking programs) You need to have a MyChart account to access the MyChart features. For more information, visit mychart.urmc.edu, and click on “Sign Up (I don’t have access)" in the blue box to the left.

  • I love MyChart

    I feel so in touch with the doctor at all times. I get results from test that help me ask questions . If I have a problem, I write to my dr. (Dr. Ryan) who always gets back to me within hours. I can make appointments easily, scheduled my mammogram so fast and got results right on MyChart. No waiting for snail mail for results. It’s the best thing ever! Joy Pascarella

  • Awesome

    Well let me just start with, I’m disabled due to a genetic disorder. I was working at the local Tops grocery store and had all my scripts filled there when I was working. When I lost my left that job due to the disorder, I changed my pharmacy to the Walgreens just around the corner from me. I still would have to walk over there and get my scripts or have someone get them for me. Then I learned that UR medicine had a home delivery service. So I switched to that program. Now with that pharmacy they are working with me to get all my medication to have similar refill dates. Thank you UR medicine, you have made my life so much easier.

  • Impossible to schedule or reschedule appointments.

    I have tried multiple times by phone and through My Chart to schedule or change an appointment. I have listened to the automated message encouraging the use of My Chart so many times I can recite it from memory.
    After actually speaking with a live person I have been bounced around to multiple people who just forwarded me to another person or more recently back to the same person multiple times without ever actually assisting me.
    I’ve entered requests to reschedule in MY Chart as well as prescription update requests with no response for over 48 hrs.
    YOUR SYSTEM IS INEFFECTIVE and discourages people from obtaining the help the need from their Physician.
    Your automated messaging is a waste of time , extremely frustrating, annoying and sounds somewhat condescending.
    Please do something to change these deficiencies that do little or nothing to help patients.
