Great Platform
Newbook is a great platform to use as a professional model. Clients are well vetted and you can choose to submit yourself to public posts, as well as receive direct requests from clients. You’re able to set your own rates, upload your own portfolio, and upload your own digitals. I love that they only take 10% as a fee compared to 20% with a traditional agency. Payments are made quickly right after jobs have been completed, which is also nice to not wait as you would with a traditional agency. I met so many great and consistent clients through Newbook that I am extremely grateful for. The Newbook team is professional and kind! I highly recommend.

Some improvements needed
I love the app and the concept but I think the biggest thing would be to have a search / location function for jobs. A lot of jobs are old from last year or are far away from me and I can’t do anything about it.

Got my first gig through here, love how I can connect directly to paying gigs. At this point is really just developing your port to catch the clients eye. Great, easy-to-use professional app. My little secret to booking more official gigs. Will definitely put my model besties on this :)
Great app for models
Booked a couple jobs already, it’s so nice that models have a safe platform to seek work. However, they need to fix a couple things. There is no way to edit if a client request to book you or request a casting and you accidentally hit no, you can’t edit your answer! It’s happened to me :( same with when you are submitting hours! There needs to be a way to edit!

I honestly thought that this app would be perfect for me as a freelance model. I read the reviews and as a black women was nervous that I wouldn’t be the image they were often times looking for. I’ve been in this app for two months and I apply to everything that qualifies to me. Yet, I haven’t booked any jobs. Getting accepted for me was easy but I haven’t received any work.

There are so many jobs to apply to, the app is constantly being added to. Super professional and legit, love that the people booking me have been vetted by Newbook. Payment process is super simple, makes modeling without an agency easy

Seriously so easy to use and I love that companies & models have to get verified before using. You get paid in three days. I’ve done plenty of jobs through Newbook and have nothing but great things to say!!
Fastest and easiest way to book work!
I recently started to use Newbook and I absolutely love it! It’s very easy to use, you’re your own boss! You negotiate directly with the client and make all the decisions on the bookings, approve it, work and you’re paid within 3 days after completion on the job! No more waiting for weeks for your money. How amazing?!? The new way to book work for models ;-)

It’s all been said in previous reviews, but I felt the need to say... this is really cool. Cuts out the middle man so finding the right talent for our shoots has been MUCH simpler. We can search for the models we needed based on the specs we needed and we could book the right fit through the app. We’ll use Newbook as much as possible moving forward.

Amazing company, amazing app!
Can’t say enough good things about Newbook - the app, the team, and the clients have all been amazing so far! Nice to have all my holds, bookings and messages with clients in one place. Another cool thing is they give you a shareable link to your profile, which I use like a personal website.
