Great new update with QR code
I beta tested this app, using two GoPro 8's (both setup with the Lab's firmware) and my two Tentacle Sync E's. This update enabled the sync of my camera, audio recorder, and the two GoPro's. The GoPro's were about two frames off in the Beta version, but this offset is now configurable to match. Once installed, do a test with your equipment and you should be good to go.Show lessDRWPhoto

Slightly off
The Tentacle sync Bluetooth modules pass timecode to my audio recorder and two cameras perfectly, but if I film the TimeBar app the phone's display is always fast by 12-13 frames compared to the TC on the actual media files.Harold_ohio
Doesn’t fill display
Seems to work well in my first 10 minutes of testing, but somehow the iPhone version produces a larger read out on my iPhone plus, than the iPad versions, on my iPad mini (even tried to install the iPhone version on my iPad, but was forced into using the iPad version). Why not fill the whole screen? Or better yet, make it adjustable in size, and with memory of the last used size. I LOVE tentacle. I have 2 of the old, and 2 new sync boxes. Couldn’t be happier. This app would be a perfect 5 stars if the numbers would just fill the entire width of the screen!Show lessTechnoWhopperWithCheese
Does not work with Tentacle Sync e v2.0 firmware
This is a useful app. It worked just fine until I upgraded my Tentacle Sync e devices to the v2.0 firmware. Now, it doesn’t see them at all.bwanajim

Problem solved in version 1.1 - App recognizes Tentacle Sync EIncompatible with latest firmware
Does not recognize Tentacles over Bluetooth with latest firmware (v2). Also needs the ability to invert screen colors—black on white is difficult to see on camera.Hnckuser

I have just spent the last 2 hours testing this new app. I’m really impressed with what the developers have been able to achieve in this first iteration. This will come in handy in many setups including but not limited to reality TV, documentary l, interviews and live conference production. I’ve always wanted to have something like this on hand during production, thanks guys. 5 Star from me.
I can see so many possible updates to this to make it even more awesome. Mac version with not taking for instance. Make it a paid app. 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿Show lessGaz kenny
