Easy like Chineasy
My favourite app of all time
And, of course, it's just a beautiful app. It's got so much content, yet is clean and uncluttered.
I still remember opening the app for the first time and learning the word 人. My ambition now is to be able to read classical Chinese poetry. Although I originally paid for the app on a whim, it's a whim that has definitely paid off.

It’s good
The app is great but it’s unclear on what language it is teaching since half of it is incorrect and the other half is correct

The content should be correct for Mandarin, so there shouldn’t be any mistakes in what’s covered. Excellent Resource for Learning Reinforcement
The team behind Chineasy seems like they are genuinely invested in others learning Chinese effectively. Blog posts, videos, flashcards, pronunciations, and intuitive images of Chinese characters help you retain what you have learned, instead of just presenting characters as something to be memorized.
Overall, a wonderful and lovable app that gives me a different perspective on how to learn and use Chinese.

Transformative and Inspirational Chinese Language App
The structure of this app is absolutely genius. It starts with easier words and gradually introduces more complex concepts in a way that makes perfect sense. The logical progression of lessons has made the learning process incredibly smooth and manageable for me.
I believe the difficulty in learning Chinese stems from the different ways of thinking and perceiving reality. This app beautifully bridges that gap, making it easy and accessible. Effective but pricey
It would be better if there were different review games to play, for example matching exercises. If these exist already, it’s not a feature I noticed.
My annual subscription elapsed and I was expecting there to be a decent discount on the lifetime subscription as it is incredibly expensive. Alas there was a discount offer but I’ve only just discovered it and a bunch of other emails from Chineasy which are all directed to the gmail promo folder; might as well be spam because I rarely check it.
For the moment I have moved to other more affordable apps for learning Chinese. I’d find other apps better for learning grammar, but Chineasy is still the best for character recognition.
