Stay away please!
When you chat with the agent, after sometime the app will kick you out. Now redo the same thing with a new agent. By the time you reach the app will kick you out again.
The smart money app doesn’t open
It’s been more than two weeks since the app is not functioning. It comes blank. I have contacted the company through chat, phone, and email. But no proper progressive response. They only say the IT department will fix it but no improvement. It’s frustrating. I didn’t expect such kind of delay in fixing an app from this reputed financial institution.

Poor App Interactive Experience
The app looks user friendly enough, but then when you actually go to use the tab or do what you want to do you can’t! In my experience I was unable to select the tab to add a new Payee, just wouldn’t allow me to open the tab? I can’t seem to edit already added payee details either, there’s just an information icon which does nothing. The app seems to shut down with it apparently stuck on the “loading” screen after a certain length of time using the app and you have shut it all down and log back in. This has been very frustrating!

Worst Finance App
This is just a terribly written application. It simply cannot recover from being suspended. If you ever open the app and see a white screen, just force quit and reopen the app; it won't ever recover.
It also takes 20-25 seconds to authenticate and get to the point where you can use the app. Every other finance/banking app can do that in 4-5 seconds at most.
Not sure who has developed this app, but they need to get a lot better.

Shocking customer service. In-app chat function useless
This bank makes it impossible to get hold of someone if they have charged you incorrectly. I connected to the in-app chat and was disconnected FOUR times after the chat operator said they were transferring. Another two times, the app times out because the chat operator took SO long to reply / transfer me. When the app timed out and I logged back in, the chat had erased itself and I had to restart the whole process again. I also followed customer service instructions to update my own direct debit bank details. After I did so, they changed the bank details and my car loan frequency repayment without my authority and started deducting my loan amount from a different offset account that is a completely separate account to my car loan account (the two were never given permission by me to be linked). Absolutely terrible

Blank screen
After logging on and selecting View accounts the screen goes blank. You guys are saying I am the only one getting this problem which I don’t believe

This is an app by a company that doesn’t want to spend any money building an app. It’s definitely the worst app I have installed on my phone. Not only do other banks have much better apps they’ve got better rates too.
Worst app
Three years later and still the same problems with when I go to open the app it’s a blank screen and I have to keep uninstalling and restoring. Very rarely does it work. I’ve spoken to technicians and they can’t see there’s a problem! Not good enough.
No good
Unfortunately the app is constantly frozen. Having to use the full website to do any banking which is not user friendly.
Getting worse
I’m genuinely impressed they can make the app worse each time they update it. Crashes. Hangs. And is basically just a web wrapper anyway.
