  • Doesn’t Work Most of The Time

Quite often, pretty much every time I use it, I can only get to a couple of stories. Is this not a free app?
  • App needs a little work

I get notifications that are nowhere to be found in the app. It’s really weird.
  • Search and notifications

Hard to search unless you have the exact spelling of names.
I received only 1 notification today and that just won’t keep up with all the lies happening these days.
And.. I am trying to rate your app and it asks for a nick name but Mike is taken!!
😳 So, I have to pick another name to complete this rating - u guys have work to do with this app.
  • This app is long overdue

I have waited for an app like this for a long time. It is badly needed in this environment where we are surrounded by data that shapes us well before we are able to distinguish fact from opinion or out right falsehood. I deducted one star because there is room for improvement in implementation.
  • Easy 5 stars

This app congregates all of the fact checking institutions into one place. It is not partisan and keeps all sides in check. Very thorough, easy to navigate.
  • Factstream does not cover full spectrum of political ideology

FactStream appears to have significant bias on who they report. Most off their fact checks are negative responses to moderate conservative ideals. Just another media outlet for liberal agendas. I support the rights of all people’s including those wishing to become citizens of the USA, the LGBT community and the protection of the unborn. FactStream does not give fair coverage across the political/ideology spectrum.
  • Only the truth, no party favorites

This is only for those that want the truth, if you don’t want the truth no matter which party you belong to don’t join.
  • Finally, a quick way to check “alternative “ facts.

We are bombarded by “questionable” statements all the time and this app checks them automatically and gives you the REAL story. A must have for the easily swayed.
  • Tames the chaos

Too much information can be as bad as none, as the needles of truth are hidden in haystacks of misinformation. This app nicely help separate fact from fiction, calling on reputable analytical sources which cite references.
  • Nice try, but failed during the SOTU

This app looked promising. However, despite offering live fact checking during the 2019 State of the Union speech, the app streamed two checks in the first few minutes and nothing more.

Maybe this app was too new, and not adequately debugged in advance of the speech.

For the time being I have removed this app from my iPad, and will use Twitter, Google, and major news sources to check claims of interest to me.
