  • Not great

Most of the items I scanned would not work and can not add recipes.
  • MyBites

The ability to log the next days bites would be beneficial. A couple of glitches- first even though I am at or below my daily 34 bites it starts taking away from my extra to the point that I have zero after 5 days.
Second glitch is I selected lbs as measurements but it keeps listing my goals in
KG: overall I find the app a handy tool and a far better alt than monthly and yearly subscription apps.

  • Doesn’t load

Doesn’t load for database menu. I even tried putting in simple things like cheese, milk bread nothing comes up.
  • Where’s community and choice of ww diet plan?

I lost 27 pounds on this great app years ago. After putting on horrendous poundage after pandemic I’ve finally gotten serious to lose weight again.

I came back to this app. Sure it’s a great sub for ww but before we had a huge accessible community group AND we could choose whatever ww diet plan to be on , I.e. points plus, and I miss that. this feature is gone. I miss the community the most.

    WHAT HAPPENED?

I WANT MY WONDERFUL COMMUNITY BACK AND MY CHOICE OF DIET PLAN THAT WERE BOTH ON MY BITES YEARS AGO.

Where can I go to find this???????

This app will still work but it’s no fun now. imma gonna look for another app that has a community.

  • Not ready for prime time

This app has tremendous potential, but it needs work. The scanner function usually doesn’t work. But sometimes it does. The search feature usually works, but not always. Entering your weight could be done one of two ways but one way tells you it worked, the other does not. If I ate all my points I would far exceed my allotted calories, carb, fat, and protein limits. Weekly points are taken for no particular reason. It has a good interface, but just needs a lot more work before it can compete with pricier apps.

  • Round 2

I used this app to slim down from 170lbs (heaviest ever) to 135lbs prior to the pandemic. Then, I felt relaxed like I could do it on my own but I’m now at 145lbs so back on the bites train to get back down to 135. This app is wonderful just wish I had better will power even without it.
  • A Good Substitute for WW

Although I’m still not completely comfortable with using this app, I’m pleased with the ways I can log my daily intake, both through search and scan. I wish there were a way to continue logging foods and portions without having to always reselect the meal. That seems to be an unnecessary step.
  • So far, so good, a great WW clone for me!

After using a couple other Weight Watcher mimic apps, I find this one easy to use and it looks nice too. Are the WW points off a “bite” or two, maybe, but I don’t cross check with my wife’s WW app unless she tells me it’s way off.

Ultimately, in a sea of WW clones, I had my reservations paying a one-time $4.99 fee, but with the support of the community adding food/drink “bites” daily, this seems like a winner for the time being.

There are so many great points trackers with way too much extra stuff for me so this was a real treat to find. No monthly fee required!
