I figured for $5 I could give this app a try. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to weight watchers but a similar program. This looked like what I was looking for. I read the reviews about the weekly bonus points not being used correctly and thought that would be an easy enough thing to overlook. The database seems fairly sizable, and they have an option to add foods that aren’t in the database. UNFORTUNATELY, when you put all of the data in for that food and hit save, it disappears into the black hole of their system. It can’t be pulled up. It doesn’t recognize the barcode. It doesn’t save it to the meal you were adding it to. It’s just....gone. Kind of like their support. I emailed them over a week ago about this problem and haven’t even gotten so much as a confirmation that they received it. I checked the address I sent it to, and it’s correct according to their “website” (pretty pathetic website, just directs you to the App Store and their useless faq). After doing a bit more research into weight watchers, they don’t even give you the right point allowance for either the daily or weekly. This app is a rip off!

  • Not so good

Its really awful. It keeps asking you to upgrade even after you have paid for upgrade. Over and Over and Over again. It is extremely time consuming.
  • Just beginning to use it

I have only been using this app for a two days. So far, I like the app overall. Today I tried to add a meal, and the app closed each time I attempted to do so. I hope this bug gets addressed as this feature would be great to have. I haven’t figured out the additional points yet, but I’m sure the more I use this app the more I will learn. Putting in individual items is easy. I like that it shows me calories, nutritional information and points. This app is worth a try.

  • Useful Food Tracker

Love the app and its customization abilities. Your foods and custom meals get stored in your profile. Very robust tracker with constantly updated items. One great change needed is the ability to save a meal or a food and then to track only a portion of that meal in your daily eaten items.
  • Good but room to improve

A few improvements would make it great. First explain the stats graph, why does it count all fruit and vegetables points when they are toggled to be zero? Same with bonus weekly points, explain why they go down even when the day is under the max?

Link to Fitbit does not work.

Would be cool to get bonus for physical activities.

Would like an easier way to enter in New foods, like taking a picture of the bar graph, product name and nutrition information. Have that populate a form for new food.

I still like it a lot. My wife does WW and has the app, it's close but more like the old WW points program. I couldn't see paying for two WW programs so this gets me close enough to do the program with her using Mybites to track points.

  • Makes it easier to stay on track!

Been using this app to track for several weeks and have been able to lose weight when other attempts have failed. Yay!
  • Useless

Nothing scans in Australia - even basics like milk. Useless over priced rubbish
  • Nice, but could use some improvement.

I really like that this tracks 'points' as well as the macros. But, I noticed that if you opt for using zero bites for most fruits and veggies, it's not calculating that in the progress bar at the top. It adds the bites.
Also, would be better if, when searching foods, it would give the 'bites' before you elect to add it to your meal. Many times I look up a food before I eat it to see if I want to make that choice.

  • Useful but with flaws

Biggest complaint is that no one is answering the emails sent to customer service with questions about the App
Had to figure out on my own that if you want to subtract the points for veggies you need to activate the button for “ fruit and veggies”
Still can’t figure out why the summary of the day shows that I am over the allowed 20 points when in fact when I logged in I was under. Don’t understand the week allowance

  • On the fence

I’ve used a few different trackers over the years but decided to give this one a try. So far I’ve found it difficult to use, no place to put notes, no place to track prescriptions, and no place to track activity. I’ll give it a month, before making my final judgment.
