Cool concept
Although it is a cool concept, you will notice a couple of things.
One you’ll get hit with a forced payment method for the free trial as soon as you open the app. Although it’s stated that apple forces developers into this when it comes to subscription models, I have to doubt that considering then numerous other apps that do not but function the same.
You will then also have to be lucky to have some in your area, and that’ll probably only be if you’re in main metropolitan areas.
While the marketing and blogs written by the developers claim it’s to shoot “anywhere”, this truly is a tremendous undertaking and extremely ambitious. With an app with only around 20 reviews at the moment of writing this I don’t think it’s in the position where it can feasibly sustain this if it needs to be crowd sourced. If they are attempting to link it to other large information databases there’s a possibility.
Very ambitious, awesome concept, however the quality of this compared to googling around your area for free and getting better results is telling.

I kept this app for a while as I travel all over the US and look for new locations to photograph everywhere I go. Sadly, there are very few locations available on it. Every place I visited had only a few sites and most of those were old houses. I like old houses but that’s not what I need in a photo location app. I have been looking for a good app like this for a while but have not found a good one yet. A great concept but not ready for prime time and definitely not ready to charge users to use it.Show lessProArms PrEditor

We’re glad you like the idea. Couple responses here. First, yep, world is big. Gotta grow to fill it. We have over 50,000 photo locations at the moment and we are growing. But we are also a Canadian company so our collection is focused there and then next biggest is the US. We are doing well in Oregon, Texas, California and the eastern sea board but filling in the middle is a challenge that we’re working on and will be dedicating effort to once COVID is over. At the end of the day, we agree on the price point. We took some advice early on from some App experts despite our misgivings and that resulted in an approach that we now regret. We’re photographers not app makers so you live and learn. At the end of the day, we agree, the pay to play model isn’t working so we’re switching to free for most features. We’ll still have some paid features but the basic map will soon be free. Hopefully that will help resolve both issues. Thanks for taking the time to review and sorry our little passion project wasn’t what you had hoped it would be. We’re working on it.Subscription

It’s a good idea BUT I live in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. I know there are allot of beautiful sites in the area that are commonly known by everyone here and for some reason it’s just photo spots of old houses and old furnaces lol.

I got a1 month subscription and then cancelled it right after. This app has close to 0 places abs doesn’t help if your trying to find cool spots to take pictures. Do not download this app and save your money.Dj Technikal

Today was my first real trial of it in a new to me environment, with a new smartphone I just got, and I have to say/admit that I have been very impressed all day by what you guy have created.
