No trial or free mode, so don’t bother!
Downloaded it and can’t even see if its of value as you cannot continue without FIRST subscribing!!! What rubbish! How can I know if it’s useful/any good if it doesn’t AT KEAST have a trial or free mode! Rubbish!,,mdturnerinoz

We're sorry you had this experience, and it wasn't clear how the free trial works. The app is free for 30 days and if you cancel within that period there is no charge. We require users to subscribe so we can create an account for them if they wish to interact with the app by adding comments, pictures to existing galleries or add new locations.Shocking.

I like the idea, but the revenue model here is down right insulting. I don’t mind paying for the app, but you shouldn’t ever pay for crowd-sourced information. This developer is basically taking your knowledge and experience and selling it to others. Don’t let them do that to you.roguegeek

We hope that other users see the value in the work we have done and continue to do to ensure a quality collection.I like the concept but currently it’s useless
The current version of the application is not fit for purpose as it’s just Wikipedia entries therefore why would I want to pay for that on a monthly basis.is1971de
Good idea, (almost) no quality content
I like the idea so I signed up for a trial membership. There were only TWO locations in the area I searched (this area was Orange County, CA - so not exactly in the middle of nowhere). I understand that you need crowdsourced content before people will find this valuable, but people won’t pay until there’s some decent amount of content... Chicken or egg scenario. I might come back if there’s more content.
For now, I wont pay for sparse content, and I won’t pay for the privilege of populating your content database. So canceled my trial.Show less1ElectricSheep

Thank you for your comments. While the app has more than 10,880 locations worldwide (as of this writing), it is also only a few weeks old. We continue to add hundreds of locations every month in addition to the user submissions so the collection continues to grow rapidly. We hope you consider checking in with us again in the future when the collection is larger or if you ever travel anywhere you are unfamiliar with and curious what locations are available.Travel photo app

Love this App, was 3 days into my NYC trip when I found it and subscribed. Not only did it help me locate certain landmarks around the city that I wanted to photograph, it made me excited to visit them, it felt a bit like GeoCaching.RecoveringRunners
