Money stollen. CAKE REFUNDED!
Cake decided to use a weak and hackable 12 word seed instead of the industry standard 24 word. My crypto was stollen as a result. After a bit of a wait and quite a few emails, Cake refunded the stollen money! Pleased they made it right. Be sure to move your crypto to a 24 word seed.
They resolved my problem
Changenow tried jacking my BTC but the cake wallet support staff William put them dogs in their place.
Beware
I used to believe in this app but today did the Bitcoin to monero exchange and it sent 5000 to an unknown address. And they will not help with it. Worst day ever thanx also the balance that I had 200 went missing without a trace and I can’t get at the remaining 400 which is dwindling
Scam ? Please help support team
Over 12 hours a fairly standard transaction was sent to my cake wallet, proof was provided yet it appears not to be in there. The individual undeniably sent the money as I was with them yet my cake wallet balance remains to be £0.00. I even attempted to restart my phone and uninstall the app and then restore my seed yet to no prevail my wallet still appeared empty. Cake wallet was recommended to me by many of my associates however if this problem isn’t resolved me and my associates will be forced to take our business somewhere else.

Probably your wallet is not synchronized. Please contact at support@cakewallet.com
Great
A little buggy but solid for what it does.
The best for in-wallet crypto exchanges
Good wallet, but for some reason buying is hopeless. I’ve yet to have a purchase go through. Just a general error, nothing wrong with payment
DO NOT USE - security compromised on previous versions
Previous version generated COMPROMISED private keys . Fix is in place - but the development team has done something unforgivable here . Who knows if they might make another ‘mistake’.

Syncing
Syncing at startup takes forever. Hours, if not days.

Please update the app to 4.2.4 version
Cake wallet is a scam
I purchased $175 usd worth of Bitcoin in my cake wallet through moon pay. I then exchanged for xmr and put address as my cake wallet xmr account and the funds never turned up. I checked the address it was sent to and it was completely different to the one I put it, even tho I doubled checked it was right one. Cake wallet staff responded to one message, but now will not respond to my messages at all. I then put another $30 into account to double check what was happening, and after I typed in address and it asked me to confirm trade, it changed my address, but this time I didn’t follow through. Use any other crypto wallet apart from cake wallet!

The address that you're seeing is a ChangeNow BTC address. Your BTC will first need to be sent there, and they will then provide you with the same amount of XMR in return, from a ChangeNow XMR address. Please contact us to support@cakewallet.com
