  • Not worth it

Very frustrating game! Objects have to be placed precisely or won’t work. Stupidly simple games to just guesswork. And what’s with having to do everything three times?!? Don’t waste your time, money, or energy!
  • Excecellent

Compliments to madhead games. A semi scary game that ended up being a lot of searching through labs for things. Decent plot. Like four hours playing time for just the main game not including the bonus game
  • Agree with disappointed.

My game glitched at the radar plug area. I tried for ten minutes, searching the whole area to get the plug to attach, to no avail. So frustrating when you are close to the end. Good luck.
Obviously Disappointed filled out their review 3 years ago and they still haven’t fixed it.

  • Is it Eipix??

Mad Head brings us a distinctly Eipix-like game. The mechanics are eerily similar to the Hidden Expedition series, such as close-ups opening and closing with gold bars, instead of zooming in. The morphs in HOs are a traditional Eipix feature, even the morph indicator is the same swirl as Eipix! PLEASE TELL ME EIPIX HAS NOT BOUGHT MAD HEAD! Ok, onto the game. The story is of course save the world from the villain, but it’s an intriguing take. Story really didn’t make a whole lot of sense. As mentioned, morphs in HOs, and Mad Head logos in every scene. The HOs were 95% list type, one cool match the cloud shapes to silhouettes, and one match the texture. Not much innovation there, Which is not like Mad Head. No glitches, although a couple of times it took a few tries to get an item to work. Puzzles were better than most games; it actually took a bit of time to do a few of them. Yay! Game length was about average. You can go back and find collectibles you missed after the game is over, which is always nice. In the extras, there are jigsaw puzzles to do, and a treasure hunt. Once you complete the treasure hunt you get a large HO to play. There is also an “ultimate game” to play, which is the last mini game in the bonus chapter. It’s an arcade style game, and you try to keep from getting hit for as long as you can.
I deducted half a star for lack of innovation, another half bc of the Eipix-type play, and another half for storyline. Real rating of 3.5 rounded up to 4 for the neat extras.
  • Great

Good awakening for my age..79. Lol keeps u alive
  • Yes!

Having more fun than I’ve had in a long time. I have terminal heart failure and this is something I can still do. Thank you and God bless you all. 🙂
Ps- I just now found out I had to pay to play from that point. Disappointed...but not really surprised
  • Great story, clunky controls

The story is engaging and the HOPs are new and innovative. The clues are more realistic and there’s not a box with a special emblem around every corner, although there are a few. But the controls are so clunky. I will put an item where I think it needs to be over and over, then look at the guide to make sure I’m doing the right thing, which I am. There was one point I didn’t think I’d be able to finish the game because no matter where I put the item, it wouldn’t work. Finally, it clicked, but more out of accident, than anything. I am happy with the game, but that part is so frustrating. I’m using an iPad.
  • Good game!

Pretty Long game; not short like many others. Good plot, good animation. No fairy princesses thank goodness. Pretty challenging. More like the old adventure games in a way. Recommended
