I downloaded this app to get to know the game better. I love it because there are no pop-up beds!
Nice but needs refining
The app has a nice and clean UI, but the logic needs further refining. For example, non-called partners should not be failing off points to the picker when they have non-point fail options. It’s a complex game so it’s understandable that the logic has flaws. Keep working on it, it’s a good app.

3 handed seems pretty good.
5 handed was not enjoyable. Too many totally non logical plays (ie: non partner with multiple trump, uses Q clubs instead of smaller trump on call ace: another time non partner can trump called ace-smears!!).
This version I would give a 2 1/2 stars.

Great for learners
Great explanation and leasters or doublers you can choose. It’s a tough game to learn so it’s nice to learn against the computer rather than the stress of people. You can set it so you must tap before the hand/trick is collected which enables you to learn the reasoning of what is the highest trump. It’s a good app to learn sheepshead. I would recommend it to all learners.

Suspect playing
Players sure don’t push the picker. See too many holding queens and sometimes 3 go down on last trick
Very poorly designed.
The computer players all seem to know what cards each has. With the first hand you can tell that the picker and partner are coordinating, even as the first card is put down. And as the human player you can easily go 150 hands without having decent enough cards to pick.
Great game
Quick smart play and it’s basically add free. The only way it could be improved is if after a hand you could look back through the tricks or tap on a player to see what their cards were, or more options on the rules such as partners in four hand or being able to call off a partner if you have the jack of diamonds. THANK YOU FOR AN AWSOME GAME!!!!

Rules
Growing up we played sheepshead and the black queens were partners and if six played then the jack of diamonds was also a partner. The players who didn’t have the black queens never got a minus score. Really don’t like the minus part of it.
Finally I’ve “friends” for cards.
PLEASE fix the glitch that shows two pickers during a game!
This app is great. I haven’t played Sheepshead for years due to lack of players. Now I’ve virtual players and play as often as I want.
My only issue is, there’s a glitch with identifying the “Picker” while playing. Often app shows two pickers.

Terrible hands
I’ve never in my life played a computerized card game that deals you such bad hands so often. I literally played for over 2 hours straight without w we getting dealt a hand worth picking on. Ridiculous and not at all entertaining
