Frustrating

It really is one of the most frustrating apps I’ve ever used. As many others have commented, you can’t deviate away from the app to verify banking or check details as you lose your progress and have to start all over again. It’s also really annoying that there’s no auto-complete option and doesn’t remember your details from previous transactions.

And that’s if I can get that far - I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve tried to get in to buy a gift card and just get the never ending wheel of doom.

Easy to access our great benefits!

Our organisation has vivup benefits and I have to say their range is superb. I’ve personally used all of the benefits on offer, whether that’s the discount cards, the payroll pay benefits or the well-being apps. This app allows me to access all these in the palm of my hand, just by looking at my phone or giving my fingerprint. Thanks Vivup!

Auto filling and new banking varification

Great money saving app but would be great if it automatically filled in details or remembered them from previous entries.

Also due to the new banking verification systems by the financial institutions I’ve found that if I need to verify a purchase in a banking app it defaults back to the payment page and therefore doesn’t give you the chance to verify it

Looks useful but isn’t

There’s no ‘back’ option which is frustrating.
Just tried to purchase airport parking through this app. All going well, put in the dates etc and went through to pay. Payment successful. Then you put in your car details and flight times. Went to double check the flight number as there were a couple landing at the same time(ish) and came back and the quote had gone. No email. No way of getting back to where I was. So payment taken and the parking company now have a booking with no car assigned to it. Had to contact the parking company to finish the booking. It shouldn’t have been that difficult.
Probably not going to use the app again now just to get a few ££ off as the hassle isn’t worth it when it goes wrong. And it’s disappointing that it went wrong the very first time I used the app.

User experience

The benefits are great through Vivup, the the app doesn’t allow you to go back when you are looking at different benefits so you have to start again, it’s really frustrating and something that could be easily added I am sure, hope this happens soon

Missing basic things

After using smartspends for the last 4 years and our employer swapping to Vivup omg the app is very frustrating. Doesn’t store card details so every time you have to enter card details… no way of selecting favourites again having to click through and search.

Hopefully they will make the app more user friendly.

Useful app

Really handy having the app available in demand. I can now access my employee benefits whilst shopping and at home, in non-working hours.

Product range is amazing

Range seems to get better and better. New items from Primrose. Ideal for the garden with Sumer hopefully on the way.

Great benefits and discounts

I love how easy it is to get money off top retailers that I use all the time like ASDA etc.
The Payroll Pay benefits as so easy to use and are a great way to spend the cost of purchases 😀

App needs updating

My employer hasn’t signed up to all of the offers, so when I click on them it takes me through to a form to fill in with my details. Unfortunately there’s no easy way to navigate the app (no back buttons) so if I decide not to fill out a form, the only way to get back to the home screen is to force quit the app and restart it.

Thanks for your feedback! We understand some of the functionality related to our online platform can be improved when access through the App, and are working hard on it. Since early this year, we introduced an update that allows forward/back navigation when accessing the App’s content. I hope this helps with your issue. -GM
