Worst app ever. Nurses and other care staff should be able to get paid immediately after their shifts, not every Friday! The app itself is not very user friendly and we should be able to pick up available shifts automatically, not apply and wait for a response! We have lives and need to know right away if we are working, not days later. If they don’t accept your “apply” they don’t tell you, they just leave you hanging until the shift time has come and gone.
If you do want to be paid, I’m the same day. You only get part of it’s a whole other process to do that. It’s a huge rating game to pick up shifts and get paid. No thank you. When I deleted the app, I continue to get emails for LPN urgent shifts and I’m not a LPN. Double thumbs down for me.

Hello! I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy our app. If you do want to give ESHYFT a second chance, I highly recommend applying for InstaSHYFTS. Unlike regular shifts, where you have to wait to be approved by a facility manager, once you apply for an InstaSHYFT you are instantly booked - no waiting! I also recommend checking out PayOnDemand, our version of next day pay, or our PayCard, where you can receive funds as soon as 25 minutes after a completed shift.

A waste of time

They need 0 stars. Listed with them for over a year never got a shift. Reached out to support finally asking about the booking process and they were so rude. Each of the 3 people that jumped on the chat. Most of the facilities they have are using other agencies in my areas, have short shifts for nurses like 4 hours but you need to drive an hour or more from a huge major area. The onboarding was just a waste lf time and app space on my phone.

HORRIBLE APP

If I could rate a -0 I would. First issue is the pay, after you work a shift you have to wait for the facility to approve you after you worked the hours, why not have someone signed you out after the shift for verification. Second thing is when you trying to get pay on demand, you have to sign up for this and that which is insane! JUST GIVE ME MY MONEY! Third I hate the fact they let the facilities cancel you after you book a shift! But if you miss a shift you get penalized. I advise to stay away from this app: it’s horrible.!!!

PayOnDemand does allow you to access your pay sooner, but since it is a secure banking platform, it does require you to sign up and provide banking information. Support chat, email and phone are useless

I can write them 10 times there is a glitch with the app and they just ignore me. The app hasn’t worked properly in days and each day the phone center and chat employees just ignore this concern in the chat. They literally do not acknowledge the complaint at all. It’s either the most deliberately disrespectful company on earth or eshyft just doesn’t want to earn more money by having a functioning app so nurses can work shifts with this company instead of competitors. The competition has portals and phone lines specifically for issues with the app and they manually can fix schedule and time card issues with a quick phone call to facility and Eshyft staff member to confirm things and then they fix it on their software. I know eshyft can too because they have done so for me previously. The problem with eshyft is they will lie for days saying that they cannot fix the error. I have to make several phone calls and chats and emails before Eshyft admits they can fix it and actually helps me. I’m going through this multiple times per week it’s getting to be more hassle than benefit.

The app is awesome just perfect but new software is not installing in my phone and because of that I will have to buy new phone. I love everything else about this agency! Would highly recommend.

I agree if it’s was a zero I would rate it a zero as well, whom ever gave it a 4.8 probably was paid for that rating, The staff is rude, nonchalant, don’t listen to what your are trying to say, They lie and lie and lie about the miscommunication between healthcare professionals and the facilities, believe me you can have proof a million times if a facility cancelled you without removing you from their schedule, they still will suspend you not caring about if the facility made a mistake he automatically have to take the blame l, no help whatsoever, the app have issue they swear they sent you emails or messages of communication but no where to be found you screen shot it showing them , they do not care so definitely don’t let this be your main job because it’s no job security, They don’t know how to treat or talk to there workers! The owners or manager don’t even need to respond to this review because how you treat your workers who helps keep this business up and running is unacceptable this not just from me but many others as well believe me, work with another company as you can see all the reviews were some time ago they getting worst and worst!!!

Another waste of time for nurses

After applying to to almost 50 shifts, they’ve all either been denied or cancelled at the very last minute. Way to screw over nurses looking for work. Save yourself the aggravation and time by NOT bothering to download any of these apps that make you apply for PRN shifts. Whoever came up with this concept must have some vendetta against healthcare workers and enjoy watching them beg. There is a healthcare shortage. I am not going to beg anyone to work for them. Besides, there are no real shifts available anyway. A ZERO OPPORTUNITY platform.

Callout policy

It would be nice if after a year or so a call off would automatically fall off. It makes it difficult when almost everything is a ‘short notice call out’ if it’s less than 24 hours in advance. Especially since we only have a small amount of these to use.

Apply to shifts & never get any work

Zero help from the corporate number or chats. I am beyond frustrated with this job. I apply to 60+ hours a week but some weeks I get zero shifts. Unlike their competitors, they make you “apply” for the shift and wait. So I apply even weeks in advance and want to work hard but the day of the shift find out it’s filled already with someone else. If someone else took the shift TAKE IT DOWN FROM THE LIST.

I’m joining the competition instead. Contacting the facilities as Eshyft suggests doesn’t help. They just try to poach you, saying if you want the shifts come apply for a job there or stop bothering them. Broken system and ZERO help from company support phone number or chat. Literally took three days to get someone who could answer questions on company policy for me.

LOVE what I do and HATE how this app is designed. The company doesn’t care about our feed back like intely cared and tried to make it user friendly.

Horrible employee help & help chat

This app is less user friendly than competitors versions. Very little helpful information. Long wait times for support from the corporation. Nearly impossible to pick up a shift last minute because you have to be confirmed by the facility.

I have spent over an hour asking the same question over and over again to the help desk with no real answer, or seemingly even comprehension of what I’m asking. If I search the key words for my question on the employee info section of the app I get no helpful information.

Rates of pay are good but the app is absolutely garbage.
