  • Save your money and time.

    By far the worst cameras iโ€™ve used, in terms of quality and sound it is great. The problems come with the app, you can only have one device logged in at a time which is super inconvenient and itโ€™s a 1/16 chance the playback will work without errors. Please save your money and time, avoid these cameras.

  • Good app but needs improvement

    Iโ€™ve been using Lorex for quite some time for my wireless cameras system. Features are great but the live feed takes too long to connect. The 4K doorbell specifically takes way too long to show the live stream on both wifi or mobile data.
  • Connectivity Issues

    I am currently using 3 indoor cameras model W461AS-Z and all three from time to time has connectivity issues. The app has not really crashed on me but the consistency of connectivity issue is frustrating. I canโ€™t tell if its the app or my cameras doing this. I do have other Lorex cameras but those are linked to another Lorex app. So when I need to connect for live view or even recorded videos, sometimes I just canโ€™t connect at all regardless if I am home or away. My home internet speed is about 400mbps down and 25mbps up. All three cameras are roughly within 10 ft from the mesh routers. I just canโ€™t figure it out so Iโ€™m left videoless for a few minutes and sometimes hours and even days if Iโ€™m on vacation.

    I am also able to link the cameras to Lorex Pro but that app does not allow me to do certain things like formatting the memory disk. I also do get the connectivity issues with Lorex Pro app.

    Maybe it is this model camera? I will never know.

  • Event log

    UPDATE on event log
    Everything is back to normal

    The event log was working good for months I was able to see in the image of my event log (for example ) who was at my door or driveway or backyard etcโ€ฆ I did not have to go to all my notifications but now itโ€™s back to LOREX logo again in all my notification when I go to my event log for each of my camera It is extremely annoying Please can you fix this problem again Thanks

  • Unnecessarily complex

    Although the previous version was not great, it was at least usable. This seems to be a case of change for the sake of change. I hope the developer rethinks this.

  • Two cameras

    Happy so far. Have them to monitor sump pump and temperature. Basement and upstairs. Would buy again.
  • Great camera

    I purchased the floodlight camera and I am very impressed with it it took some time linking it to my Wi-Fi but once it connected I was very happy. The picture quality is excellent especially the nighttime even without the floodlight I live on a busy street and you can definitely make out people or vehicles no problem. there are a lot of settings and adjustments that I had to play with because I live on a busy street but I have that fine tuned now and the camera works excellent.

  • App events

    App not sending events,
    When I click on events it doesnโ€™t show me any new events. Stopped working

  • Firmware updates

    Cameras are great but if you are at the mercy for updates. If no updates available you cameras will not work the way they are supposed
