Description of PairVPN

- Your own VPN server, on any device! As easy as installing a mobile app, PairVPN can turn any phone, tablet, or computer into your personal VPN Server. The technology is so innovative that it was actually patented! Just run the PairVPN app on your connecting device and your server device, pair them once and connect from anywhere. No setup or configuration needed. - Many uses of PairVPN: Remote Access to Home/Office Networks Allow full Internet connections anywhere you go Protect from snooping on untrustworthy public Internet Secure your network usage over public WiFi Establish a peer-to-peer tunnel between any two devices on the Internet - Privacy is a certainty: PairVPN is designed in a way that no personal information, password, or security keys are collected or stored remotely. The pairing process ensures your connections stay secure and anonymous even from us. Also unlike normal VPN services, we have no access to your network activities by design. - Security with ease For remote access, large corporations can afford to hire network specialists to set up dedicated VPN servers and firewalls. This will not be realistic for many home or small office networks, which may not even have a fixed public IP. The PairVPN app offers simplified security configuration and does not require changing firewall or setting up accounts. By allowing only paired clients to connect it also greatly hardens security.

Reviews of PairVPN

  • A must have if you are a traveler.

I highly recommend this app to anyone that is traveling. Works right out the box, super simple to setup. As a family of 3, I wish it allowed to 3 or more clients at the same time. Hopefully this will be added in the next update!
  • Incredible app: Solves slow hotel Wi-Fi

A few days ago, I checked into a hotel in Washington DC, which grudgingly throttled the Wi-Fi to 3mbps, too slow to even stream HD content. However, I was able to get 700mbps on my T-Mobile 5G in the room, but my plan limited my high-speed hotspot data to 40GB. Not anymore. With PairVPN on my iPhone and Mac, I’m able to bypass that limit and get near gigabit 5G-powered internet for my Mac anywhere, including in a hotel that has notoriously slow Wi-Fi! Switching to my hotspot with PairVPN made a world of difference. I can now effortlessly stream 4K content, download large files, and more, and performance seems similar to my Fios Home Internet, all with no limits from T-Mobile.
  • Works for me

Overall, good experiences using it once a week with an iphone 13 and mbp m1 (phone plan includes hotspot @ 3g speed). My computer will sometimes randomly disconnect but it's easy to reconnect. Also worth knowing, NordVPN needs to be disabled for PairVPN to work.
