Very bad UX
After installing the app, I wanted to add my AC. App got stuck with message: “Scanning air conditioners…” and told me nothing about the pairing process, what should I do to find my AC, etc. Only information I found on the web is, that wifi is supported and them how to control app, nothing about pairing. After 30 minutes I found out that company is selling extra wifi module for another roughly $110 (I can see prices in czk currency) which I guess I don’t have.
Would be nice if after starting app I could get information when pairing is possible, what do I need for that and how to perform it. I would say not having this feature deserves 0 star nowdays as it’s standard for products for $10 usd, while my AC costed $4000…
Accessory sold separately is painful (paying $110 for product worth $10 in reality), but not as painful as non-finished software using that hardware.Developer Response
