Description of Genmo

Create AI-Powered Photos & Videos. Genmo (short for Generative Mosaic) is an AI-powered app that recreates any photo or video using an entirely separate set of images. Take a picture or video, select a dataset to render it with, and get your recreated piece back in seconds. The new clip is completely generated by our own neural network. From there, try using the selection tools and stacking your creative moves. The possibilities are wide open! We use our own deep neural network architecture, which blends a generative adversarial network (GAN) with other neural networks. Genmo is a project of LatentCulture, an AI research & production venture based within Jason Salavon Studio on the University of Chicago campus. We are artists, programmers, and researchers investigating how deep learning and other generative systems can impact creative production. Contact us at hey@genmoapp.com.

  • Booty

This is app is trash. It doesn’t even work and I wasted a dollar. Who ever made this needs to go in a coffin
  • Ok if you like pink circles

Always gets stuck loading photos or generating whatever it is supposed to generate. Have not seen one finish yet!
  • Does absolutely nothing

You can pick a photo and select a filter and then the progress circle fills out to 99% and essentially stops.
I get no results no matter how long i let it run
