The app include latest state of art AI models: Real ESRGan (for 4x resizing), Waifu (for 2x) resizing, and GFPGan for old photo, faces recovery. Waifu 2X: 40 Mb ESRGan: 100 Mb GFPGan: 250 Mb You could run these from outside the phone, but then you would pay 3-5x times for the online service and sometimes a quote per image! And if you think these models make simple calculations you are wrong, what they achieve wasn't possible just some months ago. Rest are libraries used for content-aware scaling. The app tracks only crashes, so no big tracking modules or analytics, just plain Firebase.

It works exactly as described, but you have to press the buttons, and not just stare at the screen.

For making the app faster just a smaller version of the image is processed. When you are happy with the result you can use the other options for resizing the image 2x or 4x if you need it.
