Good stuff, but
So I'm wondering about the remove ads iap. Says after the iap that you'll still get the benefits from watching ads, but you don't have to watch ads anymore. And one of the benefits from the ads is "honey" which allows you to play the game. Its like refilling your car with gas. If I'm misunderstanding something, plz let me know. But do you still run out of honey after the iap?
Doesn't make that very clear, and I'd adjust my review to reflect that it's a five star game if that isn't the case.

Expected to hate it, but I SUPER love it!
I expected this game to be childlike, too easy, too involved for the amount of fun. But it turns out that it’s super cute, super fun and I’m only early in the game! My only critique is that I do wish that the next level of difficulty was open already because I can’t wait for the challenge and I do wish I could skip the “dialogue” (sorry!). This game has kept my mind busy, positive and challenged through quite a difficult breakup. I love this!

More of the same in a good way
I'd recommend Alphabear 1 over this, at least until a multiplayer mode is added, and the unlocking of the rarest bears seems extremely random. Nevertheless a worthy sequel if you liked Alphabear 1 or if you love word games.
Good-but need options for more honey
I am glad they came out with a new version as I liked the original and was disappointed when it ended. A few things I would change are the inability to fast forward through the storyline parts. They can be quite long if you don’t really care about time traveling bears. Also, you can buy coins to boost your bears, but there is no way seemingly to buy honey to play games when you run out? You are capped at how many ads you can watch for honey, so you are limited as to how much you can play-even if you are willing to pay. If you played through the last version, you won’t be challenged very much at the first few chapters. I am on chapter 3 and have yet to not win on my first try-but I am reminding myself of strategy, saving boosts and upping my bears for the more challenging levels I know are ahead.

Cute and challenging
Join forces with adorable bears to help you with these word puzzles. Great variety of puzzles, with added depth of choosing how many letters to reveal, trying to tactically use bears to boost your score and different levels and puzzles to keep things fresh. It is really one of the greatest word games around (and super cute!)

GIVE ME MORE HONEY
VERY CUTE. I am addicted to this game, so i needed to download Alphabear 1 to alternate with because I always run out of honey lol HIGHLY RECOMMEND
VERY good game!
I’ve been an avid fan of the original Alphabear for a while now, and this game is basically a more modernized version of it. You still have cutesy bears and fun missions, but this game adds on to that, introducing meaningful customization and a deeper storyline. That said, however, the game also employs a loot box system that everyone seems to be so into at the moment, and uses its original energy system. The loot box system isn’t oppressive or bad; it is actually quite helpful and fun. However, the energy system needs some work. After you get your free honey from ads, there is no way to get more but wait. Devs should introduce a way to buy more with the coins, or even introduce a purchase that garners unlimited honey.
Edit: after playing for a while, wow the energy really does limit you. I can only play maximum four matches at any given time. I have hit level 3-17, and I can’t get closer than 1000 from the target score. I also can’t do any events or bear school because they are too difficult.
In conclusion, Alphabear 2 improves on the original in nearly every measurable way.
