Game Changer. I can’t live without it!
This app is a game changer. I am a voice teacher and being able to instantly download tracks for my students has been incredibly useful. The customer service is wonderful and so fast! (thank you Tom!) I could not run my small voice studio without PianoTrax! Having a yearly subscription is a wonderful addition. I also think this subscription would be very useful to college and high school students who plan to pursue a career in the arts. Useful for jobbing Acors
I’ve used this app many times for audition tracks and to beef out my rep book. As someone who doesn’t play piano it’s great to know I can probably find what I need here and I can also transpose it to fit well with my voice. What’s not to like?Elgarsrondo
Life-saver for auditions
I use this app to record self-tapes — it’s helped me tremendously over the years to have the capacity to playback selections in different keys. They sometimes even have a shorter cut that is super useful when the submission requires 32 bars, etc.
I enjoy the capacity to slow down speed in the app and wish it was easier to download the tracks to my laptop with the adjusted speed. These adjustments you still have to request when downloading, which I tend to override because of turnover time for auditions (I record on my phone and use my laptop for playback, so cannot use the app when recording).
Otherwise, this has been super useful as a tool for auditions. I even use it to practice for live auditions, just so I can get a better feel for the accents and tempo markings in the score. Great app for rehearsals or auditions
Wonderful app to get songs for auditions or to rehearse numbers in your current show. Part tracks are very helpful. I like that the tenor tracks are recorded in the right octave. Catalog is constantly growing.
Only downside, is if you are using it to rehearse for a show, some of the dance breaks are edited out. Would be good to have both options on each song if they do edit out the dance breaks.Show lessgroverdee
Good value subscription
I love the app - great to be able to change tempo and key whilst playing. Fabulous ever expanding range of songs. You get three free downloads a month with your subscription price too. My only wish would be that you could download with the altered tempo and key as I use mine for comps and they have to be on CD … also the ability to download on an iPhone would be great!Show lessFifi0705
Invaluable app!
This is one of my favorite apps in the App Store. It’s been incredibly helpful in auditions, for personal practice, and performance. It’s versatility and adjustability is exactly what amateurs and professionals need to become better at their craft. It’s amazing to be able to adjust tempo and key. PianoTrax is amazing!!!
This app has been a life saver for me! As a private voice teacher, I can play piano well enough to teach music and play chords, but I am not an accompanist. I have been using PianoTrax for the last 5 years for my student recitals. I have also had a few custom tracks made. They always sound extremely professional and exactly as written and the app and website are super easy to navigate. The staff is also amazing, very responsive and helpful. Awesome app!
This all is the best, especially for singers preparing for a performance or audition. The tracks very accurately reflect the real songs and you can change the key as well, which is helpful. Selection is also very good!Mattpinnj
