This is ridiculous

What a stupid and unnecessary thing to HAVE TO DOWNLOAD this app just to use the face cleanser tool. Horrible and stupid

Why do I have to have the app in order to use a product???

I received a device from FOREO as a gift and I had to connect to the app to use it, which is just plain ridiculous!!!! the app also asked for things like purchase date and proof of purchased when I didn’t even have that. I ended up being able to use the device. But notifications from the app bugged me repeatedly.

Once you open the app, there’s a fullscreen unskippable ad followed by a pop-up ad. It just makes the app inconvenient to use.

Error in the postage on the app.

The postage on the app is three times more expensive than on FOREO website. Why is this? Have contacted FOREO regarding this but nothing changes.

Bad operations

So you update the app but don’t push out the app update requirement so nothing works until consumer has to call to find out that they need to delete and reinstall the app. Very poor experience

App is ok but needs work

I don’t know which to blame — the app or the device. I’ve had trouble a couple of times registering one of my devices. It kept telling me that the serial number I entered was not valid. It turns out that what I took to be the serial number, wasn’t. don’t know what THAT is, but the much longer barcode on the bottom part of the label on the box is the corrrct one. Once I got that sorted out, I was able to register the device. Also, some of the instructions for some of the devices are not very clear at all as to how you’re supposed to use it. But I finally got it figured out.

BEWARE

They have bugs and know about them. My FOREO Bear is not running smoothly and I’ve just been told that it is unable to update. It is just over 3 years old and something that is not for everyday use and costs hundreds should last!
They also now blast you with ads before you can even start using it!
Therefore due to my experience with the machine and their customer care I do not recommend this product.

App broken, no option to remove mask from UFO

At some point they broke the app and now it seems it’s no longer possible to remove an uploaded mask from the UFO. Replacement with another mask also doesn’t work properly as to move a mask to a different place, you have to “unselect” it (which you can’t do anymore)

More concerned with pushing ads than functionality

App is more concerned with pushing ads in your face than making something that is functional and useful. A 5 sec ad on every start up - yes you can skip it but it’s irritating. I paid for an expensive device, I expected a slick app that prioritized user experience.
