  • Springhouse Club Pilates

    I have done all forms for physical therapy being 59 years old, especially with having 11 accidents. Younger years being a body builder as well as Dragon boat racing on the Schuylkill River for 15 years having won Gold twice cannot compare to the beautiful way I feel as well as look with the reformer equipment in a 50 minute class.
    That being said, Pilates’s has elongated as well as toned my body similar to a Stradivarius violin of the MET museum.
    I am able to perform for up to 11 hours a day at Jade Organic Salon with gentleness and easy on my joints allowing for a pep in my step bring Dr. approved and recommended healthy hair color to community! Couldn’t do this without Pilates!
    A must try at any age!

  • Do not sign up!! They bill you forever!!!! You can not escape them!!

    I don’t recommend club Pilates

    1) impossible to find a class "last minute" (the week of). It seems like people pack in classes & then no-show, there is often at least 1-3 spots open for "full" classes

    2) extremely unethical billing
    See attached. There is no billing notification. This is unethical behavior.

    Everything I can think of from streaming TV / music service, utilities, credit card, wireless phone .. they all send an email or text at time of billing.

    3) I can't remove my credit card information
    See attached. It says even if I remove my account, I will still be billed.

    4) canceling can only be done in person.
    I called / texted for 3 business days and the manager never called back.
    If you leave town, better get a flight back to this location to sign the paperwork. Because they ONLY cancel and remove your credit card information in person.

    Very sketchy

    5) biggest complaint:
    No receipts for payments.

    I know no business that does this. Meaning every other business provides a receipt for payment. Club Pilates doesn't do this because they are unethical.

    They need to change this practice.

  • Unpredictable

    I’ve been using this app for a year. Generally speaking, it’s good enough, but it leaves a lot to be desired. It regularly shows that I’m out of credits when in fact I’m an unlimited member. My attendance can take up to 24 hrs to update and be reflected in my total class count. When participating in challenges, my attendance can take a day or two to be reflected correctly. I often times get error messages when booking a class. Leaving the app and coming back into it usually let’s me book the class, but why should I need to do this? We pay a lot to be members of Club Pilates, so I’d appreciate a better, more dependable app.
